  1. I used the enjoy Isopure fruity drinks but lately they turn my stomach...do you think it would be ok to split half Gatorade(G2) and Half Isopure? I'm sure it's fine but wondering if for some odd reason it would effect the Protein by diluting? Now that I type this it's sounds like a dumb question but I have a whole case I don't want to waste and I think G2 will cover the taste and I have some in hand.

Has anyone tried Protein NRG? It's protein flavored water - I just saw it on Shark Tank. It's sold at Walgreens. Has anyone tried it? I'm going to go get some tomorrow. I'm hopeful. I do NOT like Crystal Light. I had one flavor I liked (Raspberry Peach Fiber) but it's discontinued! This company makes watermelon flavored water. Yum! Check it out. I'll report back tomorrow. http://www.pronrgusa.com/

Just wanted to share that I tried this one and it is awesome! Very smooth, great taste. It is a little on the sweet side at 4g sugar for a serving. It also has a multivitamin, added calcium citrate, and 4g of fiber.

I think this is CRAZY! I'm even to the point where I'm considering doing it. Not to make money, but because I think it sucks horribly that you can't try stuff! What would you personally pay per drink to try and what would you want to try? It seems like powders are way easier to get in sample versions... but maybe I'm wrong with that too. What do you think? What would make your list of things to try?

  8. I bought a package of Chike. I'm not a fan. I like some of the other coffee flavored products but I don't think I'll ever use this stuff - too sweet. If anyone in the US wants it, I'll mail the rest to you.

Help....... The original tablets were too big. I decided to try Bariatric Advantage chewable, caramel. VERY gritty. Bad after taste. So I'm back to the large pills. I want to try the Critical petites. Has anyone tried these? Bariatric advantage agent suggested wild cherry chewable. If anyone has any suggestions please share. Thanks

So, I actually did search out threads on it and didn't find exactly what I was looking for, so I'm posting. Does anyone drink this one? Is it any good? I love that nectar is actually good with just plain Water and don't want something that tastes best blended with milk. I'm actually more concerned with the differences between this and Nectar - what's the whole slower digesting, blended Protein thing about? I currently use Nectar because it's the one protein I've liked the entire three years post op. But I'm doing strength training (ugh...don't get me started, I STILL hate exercise) and Matrix was recommended to me by a friend who claims it's better for people wor…

I am a couple of Protein powders that I'm not finding appealing. I am having a hard time with protein powders. If I open the container and it has a weird smell of protein, I know it will have a strong protein taste and I can't drink it. I'm wondering if there is any one in the Lincoln NE area that would like to do an exchange of protein powders. I hate to see these sit in my cupboard and not get used. I have EAS Complete Protein vanilla and New Solution Nutrition whey Protein Vanilla. Any takers??

I found it along with many other Protein Drinks.Needles to say, I have filled my basket! Anyone tried these? I found these on a website called Bariatric Choice.

Hi my name is Juliana and I'm about 4 weeks out of surgery and have a quick question regarding protein shakes! I know meal sizes are supposed to be 4 oz but I was wondering if anyone knew how much a meal of liquid was allowed to be. The reason I ask is because I don't get completely full off of 4 oz of pure liquid anymore like I did the first week. So does anyone have any idea the average amount of ounces a protein shake should be to be considered a meal? Thanks!! (I'm really hoping it's not 4 lol)

So I ordered my vitams. The first Vitamins I had were by Celebrate. My doctor gave them for free. So when I went back to order my post op vitamins since I am having surgery I went with Bariatric Advantage. I got the Calcium chews from Bariatric advantage and a Multivitamin. The calcium chews were raspberry flavored. They were terrible. There is no refunds, so it was $20 down the drain. I wrote the company and they sent me samples of their other chews. THey are ALL terrible! I do not recommend them! For the vitamins they were mixed berry and though they are not as terrible as the chews, they are not good either. I like my first vitamins I got through Celebrate. B…

I just wanted to post a tip for Protein shakes and other portable beverages. The tupperware tumblers with flat lids (not sippy lids or sports lids or ones with straws) are absolutely great. You can put your Protein powder in and throw it in your bag. When you want to make up your shake, fill it 2/3 with Water and shake the hell out of it. It won't leak. Then after you drink it (out of the tumbler itself), put the lid back on and toss in your bag. Again, won't leak. I have found these to be great. I get the 11 ounce ones. I have four so one or two are always clean and dry and ready to go. You can get them cheap on eBay but I just got the "rainbow" set. It was $27 for the s…

I just cannot tolerate any of them. I am wondering if I will be able to use Centrum chewables. are they different than the others I have tried? Are they smaller? I like the centrum flavor burst but my nutirtionist I cannot use those, she also said no gummies of any kind were acceptable.

So I respect those who don't drink coffee but I have never had a problem drinking it and have never come across a good reason to quit. The only problem for me was the empty calories so I decided to make it healthy. Every morning I drink about 12 ounces of coffee with 1/2 cup skim milk, 1/3 serving of unjury chocolate splendor protein powder and 1 tablespoon of unsweetened chocolate powder. This has about 80 calories and 11.5 grams of protein. It is a perfect way for me to start my morning any still get in some protein. You can also jazz it up a little if you get bored by adding half a peppermint. Candy or caramel and it only adds about 15 calories.

Just wanted to share these "shots" that I found. They are a little pricey, but they have 42grams of Protein in 3.5 ounced of Fluid. They are very sweet and taste ok. I like they grape. They come in handy if you are having trouble getting your protein in. I am still in my liquids phase, but beyond that I plan on keeping a couple on hand for when I need that extra protein I didnt get in my diet. You can find them at walmart too. http://www.amazon.com/IDS-New-Whey-Liquid-Protein/dp/B005JMRD22/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1388541206&sr=8-3&keywords=new-whey+liquid+protein

  47. Started by Kindle,

Saw this on their website when I ordered my unflavored protein powder. Being a "cheesehead", how could I resist? 140 calories, 21grams protein, 2g sugar and 3.5g fat....pretty much in the same ballpark of a lot of protein shakes so I have used it in place of one of my three shakes on some days. Fortunately, I am allowed green veggies on my preop diet, so I have used it as a dip for broccoli, green beans, zucchini, etc. Also poured it over Brussel sprouts and mixed with spinach. Yum! For post op, it will definitely be something I will eat with eggs, chicken, whatever, when I get to those stages.
