And they're also available at Asian grocery stores and Whole Foods a lot of the time. Em.. The Shirataki noodles, the clear ones, are made from a Japanese yam.. The tofu ones are obviously made out of tofu.. Hungry girl made alfredo with those noodles.. And kelp noodles don't require any cooking. Just a quick rinse & they're ready
