  1. Hi there, I’m looking for protein shake recommendations that people have tried and taste good. I have used syntrax products before and they seem to taste really good. I’m just wondering if there are other options out there in terms of a protein powder that you can make into a shake. I also like the premade, pure protein and ensure Max protein shakes, but I really hate that they are individually packaged and I’m creating so much waste. The grab and go is very convenient however. OK looking to hear from folks to see what they recommend
  2. I had my gastric sleeve surgery in 2018. My total weight loss was 105 pounds. My starting weight was 360 preop weight was 311and my lowest weight was 255. I managed to keep most of the weight off for several years but after Covid, I really started to gain the weight back. my highest weight postop was 307.I am now at about 290. I have tried GLP.-1, medical weight loss, and just trying to eat healthier and exercise. It seems like I am at a point where my body just does not want to let go of the weight. I have decided to go ahead and have a revision surgery to a Roux-n-y. I have done all my preop and I’m just waiting to schedule my surgery. Honestly, I wish I had just had the bypass to begin with. While the sleeve seemed like a less invasive option, I did not get the results I wanted. I know that some people do really well with the sleeve. I don’t honestly know why some people do better and others don’t, but my fear of having the more invasive surgery was why I chose to go with a sleeve initially. I wish you all the best in your journey. It is a very hard decision.
