Hello.... I found Bariatric pal via google search. I am 10 days post sleeve surgery and was looking for a forum were I can find out information, bounce questions off of people who understand and hopfully support others. I have been over weight for 8 years. Lots of fertility treatments, a pregnancy and stress made it very difficult for me to loose weight. I started having physical effects...pre hypertensive, joint pains, pre diabetic and just decided I really need to do something about this. I wasn't sure if my insurance would apy for it...but I just decided...what the heck, I am going to make an appointment with a surgeon and check it out. After 6 months of going through hoops for the insurance company I was approved and sleeved (also gallbaldder removal) on December 19, 2013. I am very excited to see how the new me turns out.
