  2. Just tried these - awesome snack with protein that makes you feel guilty it tastes so good, and it's easy on the sleeve regardless of where you are in your journey. 6 g Protein 80 calories 14 carbs 1 fat Yasso brand Greek Frozen Yogurt bars - I tried coconut. Yum! Tastes like coconut ice cream. They come in other flavors, too. Found them in my grocery store freezer section (Smith's). I wouldn't eat these every day to fill my protein needs, but for the occasional snack that tastes divine and still is weightloss friendly, this will do the trick. No, I'm not affiliated with Yasso

  3. Hey guys, Atkins is still giving away their Quick Start Kit, which includes 3 Atkins bars - completely free. I did an Unboxing and review video of the contents, it's posted below. The link to the Atkins free offer is below the video. Meal Replacement bar. All 3 were delicious, it was hard not to eat all three of them. Just a word of caution, the bars are sweetened with sugar alcohols, so those of you that can't tolerate sugar alcohols might not want to eat the bars. The kit also includes some literature: 2 coupons for $1 discounts on Atkins bars, Snacks, and meals. An Atkins approved food booklet and the Atkins Quick Start guide that explains the Atkins d…

I was given some samples at the hospital of Bari Life supplements. Has anyone tried these? I like the fact it is just one powder you mix in water and it gives you all the vitamins you need! No swallowing multiple pills.

I am almost at the phase of my diet where i can have the Protein bars. I have heard that the Quest Bars are good but I'm afraid to try them as they are pricey. I'd only use them if I was going to be out and about or after excercising. I can no longer stop anywhere to get something to eat if I'm out as there are no good choices in fast food for me anymore. Any other suggestions to curb hunger when you are going to be out for a long time? my Nutr. also reccomended to carry string cheese and eat that instead of the Quest Bars..... any thoughts??

  19. I'm allergic to chocolate, which sucks, but it also makes finding a palatable shake even harder. I have so much trouble drinking shakes because they all taste the way the inside of a vitamin shop smells. I just can't get them down. I can drink jamba juice all day, but that's inconvenient, full of sugar, and expensive. Help!!!

  26. Forget what you've heard, what you've bought and what you think works. By far THE BEST and most economical Multivitamin I've found is Balanced Essentials by Heaven Sent Naturals, available at Vitamin World. This product is amazing and completely eliminates the need for additional supplements (B-complex, D and Biotin). It's packed 94 vital nutrients and is much more beneficial than you can imagine. I wish you all could see the difference it's made in my hair, skin and nails in just 3 weeks. Wow...Biotin helped my hair stop falling out, Balanced Essentials is making my hair get thicker, stronger and longer. I haven't done anything different, so it has to be responsibl…

If any of you have tried it please give me feedback. I am on the liquid phase and just want something for puree phase that is not sweet. I hate to say it, but I'm already getting sick of chocolate and I love chocolate!

I am three years post-surgery and am severely iron and B12 anemic. I have weekly B12 shots, so that seems to be working, but I take three iron pills a day and still no improvement on that front. Has anyone had this problem? How did you resolve it? My doc's suggestion seems to simply be keep adding pills and testing my blood!

That got your attention! I just wanted to call out to everyone something that I missed. I read a post on here that said the Cookies and cream Quest bars are delicious and indeed theyre tasty. But when I started using them, my uh bathroom experiences became less enjoyable, to put it mildly. I take Fiber chewies and try to keep my dietary fiber up naturally as well. As I imagine many of you do. Well these bars clock in at over 20g of dietary fiber! Hence why I call them poo bombs. If you use them in your daily diet, you may want to scale back other fiber supplementation. Otherwise, I recommend miralax powder! Jay

Question is: do you go with Opurity ( not made in China) or BARIATRIC advantage for chews? I have r/o Flintstones ( not recommended) and wonder what chewable is everyone taking post-op and why?
