  1. Where are you having surgery? I'm at Wilkes-Barre General with Dr. Neale
  2. Yup, I'm 195 but I'm only 5'1". My bmi is 36-37, and I have high bp. Insurance approved it in 2 days.
  3. My insurance just approved me.
  4. Does it have to be clear or just not a thick shake? I just ordered a sample pack of syntrax nectars. Fruit juice flavors, not bad
  5. I really love the muscle milk lite in the little premade cartons. Any idea where I can get a case of them for reasonable price. The only store I have even seen them at is Wal-Mart but only 4 packs.
  6. Not investing toomuch pre surgery is a good tip, I've been buying lots of samples, for those reasons. You might not be able to tolerate some kinds
  7. I like unjury. They fill me up quite well. Muscle milk lite choc, tastes justs like chocolate milk but doesn't fill me up. I just ordered a sample pack of the syntrax nectars from Bjs bariatrics. Fyi I am still pre surgery so my concept of full is different than someone post surgery.
  8. You look great! Such inspiration. I am hoping for an April or may date.
  9. They should but every doctor and insurance if different. Mine set up a bunch of appts for me and they gave me a timeline.
  10. Yes a little. I was originally interested in August of 2012 but my insurance didn't cover it. It took a while to get me switched to my husband's insurance but I meant with my surgeon in August 2013. I only have 2 nutritionist appts left out of 6 and the closer I get the more excited I get. I think it probably just seems overwelming right now. Once you get some appts out of the way it will get easier.
  11. I am on Humira and my Rheumy said I have to stop one month before and he wants the surgeon to clear me to go back on. The risk of infection is too high to be on it while you are going through surgery. Maybe there is something you take that isn't a biologic to help lessen symptoms in between.
