  1. I plan to call this week. Thanks for the input! I'll let you know what I find out.
  2. I have family in NJ and every time we visit we hit the Red, White, and Blue thrift shop.... Love it!
  3. I had those also on the outside. She was asking about inside... sorry I probably should have said that before. :-)
  4. Does anyone know how many staples are used for bypass? My friend asked me today and I happened to think "I really don't know"!

  8. I stayed at the same weight for 2 weeks (1 month post op), but my clothes were fitting differently. My doc said to stop watching the scale and causing myself unnecessary stress. He also said to do my job with getting everything in and trust that the surgery will do it's job.
  9. Can you call a family meeting and set up a meal schedule for them? Maybe while they are all eating would be a good time for you to take a walk. Just a thought...

  13. I use these also. I found some at my Ollie's store for 2.99/4 pack. The expiration date is 2015 so I stocked up big time. Love the strawberry. Going to Target to find the Caramel, hopefully they have it.
  14. Hi. I hope ur sugery went well. I had my surgery 7mth ago. I'm down 91# i feel so much better. I live in Ky..but all my family is from w.va in logan and parkersburg not sure if that is by you or not. Wow! Congrats on your weight loss! I'm only 3 weeks out, but feel much better also. Logan is South of me and Parkersburg is an hour West. We go to Parkersburg for a day out once in awhile just for a change of pace. My youngest son had knee issues when he was younger so we spent a lot of time at Shriner's in Lexington. Luckily, my cousin lived there so we had a place to stay.
  15. Doc suggested 6, but I am only taking 3. I teach preK and feel the need to get back to class. My babies are headed to kindergarten and I want to spend more time with them :-)
  16. I am 3 weeks post op and I went from an 8.5 to a 7. Bought 2 new pair yesterday!

  21. My work requires me to stand alot...(teaching preK). I plan to go back April 7 and am worried because even just standing in my kitchen for a short time causes my side to pull and sting. I am wondering if a compression garment will help take the bite out of gravity! Any suggestions on one that is good for the money??
  22. I have read a few things that said it caused cravings so I went and checked my list of "approved" items and it is not on there.
  23. Thanks! I will have to check it out. I have never been one for anything other than ice tea, coke or Water so flavored drinks are hard for me.

  26. False alarm :-( Just read it is sweetened with aspartamine. No wondered it tasted good!
  27. Everything I have tried up to this point just hasn't set well with me mostly due to taste. I love Water, but it hurt so bad I couldn't handle it. The other day my husband had to run into Panera so I had him grab me a glass of water with lemon. It didn't seem to hurt as bad as plain water. I have noticed if I drink ice cold water with lemon it doesn't hurt at all. I was at Kroger and saw their Diet Decaf iced tea sweetened with splenda I think. Anyways, I bought it and put it on ice, waited until it got cold and was able to drink it with no problems. Hope this helps some of you that are struggling with liquids. Have a great day!!
