So since I have lost so much weight I am having a hard time figuring out how to shave my underarms! You see, when I lift my arm, my underarm is very concave and it is hard to get the shaver in such a deep concave. Does anyone have any suggestions besides waxing?

So, I'm down about 73 lbs & I've started checking out those full body shapers. I ordered one that lets you wear your own bra, so the front doesn't cover the girls. It has extended legs, too. When it arrived, I realized it is also crotchless. OK...a little weird, but could be helpful, right? I tried it on to see if it fit & I didn't bother with a bra. Well, it squeezed me in all over & made me look like this smooth, featureless, beige mannequin woman. With the crotchless-ness going on, I ended up feeling like some kind of creepy blow up doll!!! I felt like I should walk around with my lips pursed open, too. Ick...not sure I can wear that again.

So I'm not sure if anyone is willing to reply. I see a lot questions and answers about sex, but none about you know the other kind of sex. How long should I wait before you know going "down town?" I'm guess I'm scared of taking in too much air? Like a straw restriction? So embarrassed, but really curious.

Since plastics, I don't really need muffin top control but i feel the need to wear tight things around my midsection to support myself for exercise. I also still get some swelling (post plastics issue). Spanx just doesn't cut it, I need something a bit more targeted. Anyway, I am experimenting but decided to order a few things: http://www.herroom.com/rago-6265-pant-liner.shtml http://prettygirlcurves.bigcartel.com/product/pretty-girl-curves-latx-long-fit-cincher Will let you know how they work out, but most curious what others are using. I want to take skiing lessons and feel a real need for something to "hold me together" as I tumble down the mountain.

I posted this in pre op and they suggested I move it to post.....so here it goes : I know this may be a little inappropriate and I hope I don't offend anyone but It was just a thought and im sure others have thought about this too. So here it goes! I know the ...willy...looks bigger when men lose weight...obviously because they're losing weight. and i know our ta ta's might droop and sag. I know this from previous weight loss. But what about the ....."hoo ha"? I'll spare the graphicness of the post but you all know what i'm getting at!!! Does it change at all????

My period is due any day now and I've noticed that I am having a much harder time getting food in these past couple of days. I have that bloated feeling that I always get around this time of the month and it's just making it really hard to eat. Does anyone else ever experience this?

So I'm going to be frank, I'd like to ask how things changed down there post op. Do you lose weight there? Does it sag? Change in smell? Etc So haven't lost much weight to notice a difference but my ass had definitely shrunk and my underwear is now baggy. Also my periods are shorter and less messier. What changes can one expect?

Why would an old BF, the first one, after 20+ years, contact me? He gave the reason of working late one night and thought he'd browse through a classmates.com looking for a name that looked familiar and low and behold there was mine!! Now, I've been in classmates for years and I think only 1 person has contacted me. He called me at work (left a message) hoping that I was the woman he was looking for. It bothered me greatly - I should have ignored the message and he would have gone away. But I didn't. We had a very rough relationship and it should have died with high school but it didn't. (keep in mind I graduated in 1985). I asked him if somone died (we are getting …

Bought my first Victorias Secret bra! I've never been measured, I've always winged it due to not wanting to be embarrassed. I've gone from 350 lbs to my current 225. I still want to get to 185, but I just wanted to share with people who would grasp the gravity of this NSV! I am working hard to get to goal hope everyone is doing well!

My doctor wants me on birth control for the first year following surgery. I am totally fine with that but have always used the Depo shot. I have heard from pretty much everyone that it makes you gain weight. I'm 11 days out, should I be concerned this will slow my progress? Any one have any experience with this?

Hello, I had lapband June 2013. A few times since I have had severe gas pain. I thought it was that maybe I can't tolerate beans anymore. But this time no beans...horrible stomach pain, tons of gas (flatulence) I even threw up tonight. Just wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this.

Alright ladies. It seems like the more weight comes off the more uncomfortable hubby and I are with each other. I feel like I'm more vulnerable and paranoid and he's been paranoid since this whole thing started. We just aren't understanding each other well anymore, even though we have long talks most every night. Are there any others of you that are noticing a change in dynamics between you and your significant other? How are you dealing with it?

So our company arranged a gym discount for us and I decided to take advantage of it. While I was talking to the coordinator, I mentioned that I would be having surgery sometime early next year. That's when she told me they have an aquatic bariatric boot camp that just started. I had to order a new bathing suit, and I'm hoping to get it in time for the next class. No particular reason for sharing, I'm just excited about it . Also nervous about the suit. I got a pair of cover up shorts to wear over it, because as I've gotten bigger, I find my belly pushes the leg openings out and my hoo-ha, well, let's just say it gets a little too much air. Skirted suits only help…

I have discovered that I have a bone near my kitty and that it hurts like heck during sex. It's always been covered with fat. Tonight my husband even said that it feels kinda uncomfortable and that he is concerned that if he gets to aggressive it's going to really hurt me. Lol. Guess this is kinda a dirty nsv!

I bought a compression shaper at JCPenney a couple months ago, but it is time for a new one. I guess I stretched it out or something. The one I have goes down to waste and now when I sit down, it comes up. Need to invest in a good one and was looking for recommendations. Thanks in advance.

I want a pair of killer jeans. You know suitable for dates or going.dancing. I wear a size 8 but have short legs. Any advice on brands or trends? My favorite jeans are a pair of Ann Klien very skinny jeans that fit like a glove but they are that summer pant length and are plain. Thinking of something a little embellished. IDEAS? Any others interested in discussing fashion, hair, makeup, trends??

My surgeon (who has a horrible bedside manner but amazing skills) said I had to wait 3 months and that I should not have sex with my husband for those 3 months plus a month additional while I wait for the birth control to kick in. That sounds insane to me.

So I am 31 and have been overweight my entire life, for that reason I have never had my period. I just always thought lucky me and never really gave it a second thought. Well here I am 5 weeks post op down 39 pounds, getting my first period. I am not going to lie I freaked out a little, I called my mom and my sister lol. I have to say I knew I might get my period after I lost a lot of weight, but 39lbs isn't that much and I have recently been at this weight and never had my period. Has anyone else had this happen? Oh and periods suck! I could never relate before now all I can say is I am so sorry!!!

She said as I lose weight in my waist my bust size increases.... Anyone experience this problem? Dont get me wrong im happy my boobs havnt gotten smaller but it was a little weird to buy such a big bra

I am having a huge problem. I have been on my period since my surgery 7 weeks ago. On again, off again, just never completely stopping. I have lost about 40 pounds, and I was thinking that this could just be hormonal stuff from surgery. I was hoping that would have let up by now. I lost 60 pounds previously and my cycle evened out and happened on time monthly. It hasn't been heavy or abnormal but I'm worried and so tired of this! Could I be anemic or something? Does anyone else have this problem? So sorry to for the subject!

Hoping for some suggestions... I've become very pear shaped. Went shopping Thursday night as I need some dress slacks for work. The current ones I'm wearing I can pull the waistband away from my body and see all the way to my shoes. I couldn't find any that fit properly. I found some 14W that fit my butt and hips but were too large in the waist. Even with a belt they would still gap in the back. I left without buying any. I might have bought that one pair but I just won't spend $50 on pants that don't fit right. So I'm looking for suggestions of brand names of dress slacks for pear shaped women.

Before surgery, my surgeon told me that about half of people who have wls divorce within a year of surgery. I smiled, nodded, and dismissed that info because I always thought that while my marriage is not perfect, that would never happen to me. I have been married for 15 years, have 3 kids, and love my husband. That being said, my emotions from one moment to the next change quickly and sometimes I truly hate my husband. I don't know why and neither does my poor husband. I get angry that he eats whatever he wants, whenever he wants. I'm angry that I can't just go get a Big Mac to feel better (yes, I have food issues) and my anger is just out of proportion to the situ…

Today is my 55th Birthday. I asked them at work to not get me a cake but they did anyway. I was told because other people want cake. Not told that by my boss, she didn't reply to me when I said I didn't want one. I think it is kind of disrespectful to get a cake when I don't want to have to see one and be stuck in a room with one for 10 hours. The hotel supplies the cake so they just as easily could have asked for something I like- like brownies or even Cookies. What I really would like is chicken fingers. Oh well, am I being petty or unreasonable to be miffed? For the last 12 years I have been on vacation for my Birthday and did not get a cake before or after (…

Hey girlfriends, So of course, as my surgery date draws near, I've been thinking a lot about my upcoming "sleevization" and all my previous weight loss attempts. My last big weight loss was in 2010/2011. I worked HARD dieting and exercising (sometimes for 2 hours a night 3 days a week) and went from 270 to 187lbs. Size 22 to 14 (and some 12's). It was SUCH a struggle and such a victory. I've battled with weight my entire life and had REALLY made a lifestyle change. I became a beast in the gym and truly evolved from an exercise hater to an exercise lover. Right towards the end of my journey, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and got pretty sick. Couldn't rea…

27 Bizarre Things That All Women Have Done At Least Once OCT. 2, 2013 By sleep and if it’s even worth showering or go back to bed and put your hair in a bun for work. 3. bekahramaWhen hairs fall out in the shower I don’t want to clog the drain so I put them on the shower wall and do a little swirl so they are neat and ready to be put in the garbage when I’m done. 4. cupcakegiraffeLaughed or coughed so hard when you’re on your period and more blood or a blood clot comes out. My husband and I have been married 21 yrs, together 23 yrs. Our kids are 16 and 20 both still living at home. I actually started this journey in Oct. 2012 at 242 lbs. but I aquired a big client for my business and had to put surgery on the back burner till after the first of the year. My dad passed away in June and for some reason it made me take a good hard look at my life, health and appearance. I went back to my Dr. shortly after and re-started the process for VSG and had surgery in Sept. I lost 25 lbs. from Oct. of the previous year so I was 218 the day of surgery. My husband was against it at first but when he realized I was going ahead with it, with or without his …

How soon can you take a pregnancy test? The bf and I had a little *accident* a week and a half ago. My ovulation day was the 22nd. I know you're supposed to wait until you've missed a period, but I'm a freaking nervous wreck here. What's the earliest? Not sure if I've had symptoms or not, it's so hard to tell after the surgery. If something makes you nauseous that's normal lol.

Sorry, but it's true. I read an entry weeks back about a woman who said her husband was noticing/complaining about her new "odor" since surgery. She said it was due to Ketosis happening. Well, I thought it odd, but now I seem to be in the same predicament. It's like a new body odor that I can constantly smell. EVEN after showering, I just have a different smell to me. And while my husband looks at me like I have 2 heads when I ask him if he notices, It's very annoying. I can't actually tell if it's just a "smell" in my nostrils or what it is, but it definitely is coming from me. Sometimes it smells like onion but it's always a savory weird smell. Sorry to be g…

So I am going out of state for Thanksgiving to the home of a couple I do not know and have never met. I need to bring something nice for the hostess. Looking for something thoughtful/classy or chic. Maybe 40 to 50 bucks or ? Remember this is out of town, so I'm wanting to bring something non-food. These are the potential inlaws of my step-daughter, btw. I know some of yall are really good at this. Please share if you are so inclined. Thank You! Any and all ideas much appreciated! :)

I bought some, the low strength .05 dose while in Mexico and would like to hear from anyone who has used it, results, etc. I looked up instructions online and am starting slow, very thin layer every other day. I still have dry Patches where the skin is sloughing, I think that is the goal, right, to sort of peel away the old dead skin? Anyway, wondering....
