Thanks for the tip to go shopping there - I bought TWO date night outfits today. Holy vanity sizing batman!!!! I wear a size 8 pant/no stretch jean. At THAT store, I came home with 6 and 4 size pants. I wear a med top - came home with a med top, med jacket and a small top. Anyway, i will get some photos and ask for feedback because this stuff was not cheap, even with their sale, so I want to be sure that what they talked me into buying is actually flattering on me.

So I decided to go get a mani and pedi today. I get monthly pedis, I don't know how to file , cut or polish and besides for $20. it's worth getting done. There were 2 women (friends) and they both had their big toe nails very long and they were fake! Why? Has anyone heard of anything so dumb. I live in Boston, it is not warm enough for sandals. I have purple polish on and for the big toes only, I have a darker purple pokka dot. Saw it from Lancome in pinks, so cute. Everyone deserves a pedi for spring and summer and the massage chairs, OMG-I could get one weekly just for the chairs. Have a great TGIF and weekend. Arlene

Hi everyone. I am 1 week 1 day post op. so far no vomiting, nausea etc. but I am getting these little cramp feelings on my right side under my right breast. Feels like when I sit up awhile that side starts to gets all crampy like. That is the same side that has the 2 most painful inductions out of the 5 I have. Anyone know if this is normal? I'm going to see the dr in the morning but just thought I would ask the forum.

Ok ladies. I have a question. We all know that the awful cottage cheese lumpy looking dimples, otherwise known as cellulite, are just our fat deposits. And no matter how much we may work out, if we have excess fat, it's not going away. It might be a little firmer, but it's still there. So, to all of you that have lost a fair amount of weight already, do you see a decrease in all the cellulite? I for one am hoping next summer to not have to wear Bermuda shorts!!

So I have noticed that as I lose more and more weight and have been exercising really hard, my TOM is completely out of whack. I have always been regular but now my counting doesn't seem to jive at all....I start spotting when I think it's time and then nothing for a day or two and then more spotting and finally the main event. During this time I am irritable, my anxiety is way up, I am craving things I don't normally eat etc. etc. Maybe I need more protien? Could the weight loss and exercise be the culprit? I feel like crap during this crazy on again-off again relationship with my uterus...ugh! I'm waiting for Aunt Flo as we speak and hoping she comes soon. My husband…

Geez, it doesn't get any easier. I am 61 years old and I have been through a few break ups before. My bf and I lived together for 2 1/2 years. We broke up 3 weeks ago. He has such a problem with money I just could not deal with it anymore. I've made a list of all of his annoying habits and reasons why I broke up with him. I have to look at it frequenly. But I'm still crying every time I think about him. I wish this would get easier. I know in my heart that I did the right thing by breaking up with him, but I still miss him so much.

Now, I usually have one (never more than one) TOTAL ZERO red bull a day. I also was an iced coffee or iced tea junkie. I totally stopped iced coffee's all together. I switched from regular iced tea to a local brand of Southern Brew Diet Black Tea (details below). I do not drink any soda or any other "juices", etc. I do have skim milk for Cereal, etc. I need to find a drink that is okay to drink and is allowed. Any suggestions?? Alright ladies...I'm 2 weeks post op tomorrow. I've always had acne prone skin..and I'm not talking one or two small pimples here and there. I'm talking teenage hormone rage acne skin. Since having the surgery, my skin is super dry and it's flaking. It looks amazing yes, but super dry. Any suggestions for a lotion that hopefully won't make me break out or look like grease face? Thanks!

My period last month after surgery seemed normal. But this month, second month out I have been spotting for a week now and it has yet to kick in and its getting really really annoying..... I am guessing its due to weight loss and my body adjusting to things but was wondering if anyone else had similar issues? Thanks and sorry for the TMI was not sure where else to ask....

I couldn't sleep because I was hungry. Wth? I ate tons of protein today, I drank my water, I don't eat sliders. I ate 800 calories today before my midnight snack. Normally I get in around 600 calories. After 800 calories I'm still hungry. And yes I took my usual PPI this morning. Finally gave in, dragged myself out if bed, nom-ed a handful of cashews and am feeling the restriction. I'm frustrated about this. Is it possible TOM makes a person this hungry?

Hello everyone! Has anyone on here tried the product Zeal for Life? I was thinking about giving it a try. They say its all vitamins and minerals but they also have a protein shake as well. They claim you have more energy and just basically feel better. I know on the sleeve, we all have to take a lot of vitamins and I thought this might replace that vitamin and add a few more things in there as well. If you or anyone you know has tried the Zeal product, please let me know how it went for them! Thank you in advance!

I want skyla cause it's more for young women who haven't had kids. I can't find many reviews on it and was wonder if anyone here is on it. I'd also like to know your experience the first few months of any IUD a s a swell .

How soon after the surgery can we wear a girdle? Do ya recommend any type in specific?

  24. Started by moonlitestarbrite,

firstly, i am almost 48, i dont have very regular cycles. sometimes they are very light, sometimes heavy with cramping. 4 days after surgery i started spotting. never got a real period. i spotted on and off for a week. i guess it was because of dehydration. 6 weeks later i start spotting again. my period never really starts. i figure it is over after a week of on again off again bleeding. then i wake up this morning, heavy bleeding. huh? very abnormal. any clues anyone? i realize my body is still in the wtf just happened stage, but this is annoying and confusing.

I need help to get these cravings under control! A couple days ago I couldn't make myself eat, and now I feel like I could shove anything and everything in my mouth! I'm also craving soda, which makes no sense because I haven't drank soda in almost two months. I've had to consciously tell myself to quit browsing the cabinets and fridge every time I walk through the kitchen. Grrr!

Thought i would ask.... How many of you have LBT as your secret place? Meaning that you come here and talk to follow LB people and are able to speak your mind and not have to worry if someone you know will see..... I do... my hubby don't know about the site and i love it that way... i can come here and say what i want and not have to worry about what people that "know" me will think... Just curious Does your Husband/Wife know you come here...?

I have a rather delicate question for you ladies. I have been on antibiotics twice since I was sleeved and both times I got a yeast infection. I have only had maybe 2 in my whole life (when I was pregnant) other than that, NEVER have i had these before, my gyn made me come in to verify it b/c I don't get them and honestly it freaked me out cuz I had NO clue what it was. Is this just coincidence or has anyone else had this issue?

  31. Hi, I am set to have my RNY on 10/22. This whole journey my hubby has been scared about the post op me. My mother had this surgery 12 years ago. She lost her weight, found a bf, and divorced my dad. They were married for 20 years. I've been married for 3 years but with my husband for 10 years. We have 2 kids together & I am so in love with him as I was from the start. He is so scared I will be like my mother and hurt him. I know I would never do such a thing.. I love him & I adore our life we've built together. How can I make him realize I'm not going to do that? He is so sure it will happen. =(

  32. I don't remember ever having menstrual cramps this bad. I got home from work, took liquid Tylenol and put a hot pad on my abdomen. Hardly touched the pain. Ibuprofen has always been the only med that effectively relieves my cramps. What am I going to do without NSAIDs? How do you ladies handle it?

Okay, so this is weird, but I'm wondering if this is normal... when I sit down these days, it's like my external genitalia is getting squished between me and the surface I'm sitting on, like pinched or just weirdly positioned. I never had this problem before losing 120lbs and I'm wondering if my thigh fat provided a cushion before, maybe. Lol, it feels so weird talking about this but it's just been the most bizarre thing. Can anyone else relate or is my body just playing tricks on me?

When I get my new insurance. I dont want to have sex with my fiancée or fiance which ever. I don't like to think about me being naked let alone having someone see me. Blah. Time to go to sleep and hopefully wake up with my emotions back in check so I wont feel anything.

I'm wondering about the PAIN LEVEL ,and HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE / STAY !! So the last time I spent the night in the hospital was the day I had my son (almost two years ago , and I had a miscarriage at 5 months). Is the PAIN anything like a labor pain or is it worse?? Honestly I'm not even scared for the surgery I think that I'm scared to maybe relive that experience.. I am definitely a work in progress when it comes to my baby boy but I know that he is in a better place.

I was diagnosed with PCOS about 9 years ago, after trying for 2+ years to get pregnant. We were finally blessed with a healthy, happy baby, who is now 5 years old, so I've just maintained on the pill to curb my PCOS symptoms. Well, about the last 6-9 months my period has been all outta wack, and after consulting with my midwife, we have come to the conclusion that the pill is no longer working like it should. Part of the reason? My weight. Well, that was the final straw for me and my decision to have…
