Food Porn "Taboo"

I have a question since when is food a Taboo subject around here? You can't mention any type of carbohydrate without having the food police fetched on you. I just find it fascinating.. Is my talk about me liking bacon or donuts going to make you spiral into a binge?

both because I'm guilty of being a food pusher and have gotten the finger pointed at me on several occasions for what I though was harmless behavior..

Your verbiage of "food pusher" did bring something to my mind tho. I've noticed when I dish up my families meals I heap it on. I'm thinking it is an eating by proxy thing?

. I did the same thing the other day. Whipped up this awesome meal and heaped it on my husband's plate!

I do that too

That's funny because when I was making my husbands and sons plate just last night I thought for a second "My god Laura could you have put anymore on the plate"

i I think because our portions are so small that anything bigger seems a lot bigger..
I think it's because I see a plate I get a plate and I fill it to the edges...
I am a container filler. You could give me a platter and I would fill it!

funny thing is that I use small plates for me but they still get the big plates

Love me some food porn. I don't cook unless I have too so it is all vicarous. I had Food Network on 24/7 right after surgery (I was in mourning). Like all things sometimes I have to turn away but that's my headspace not yours! That cake looks is beautiful.

thanks I too no longer watch the food network I just get cravings for me to make when I do :(

I'm enjoying me some food porn. Keep it coming!

I'm on my pre-op diet...

I've changed my food porn to be sleever-friendly foods. I make them, I take photos of them, I blog them, and I enjoy eating them. So I still enjoy food, just good-for-me food. I hope it stays that way for me.
