Has anyone tried Ultherapy? Specifically on their neck. Some areas will have to be addressed with surgery. Period. But i am cautiously optimistic my neck area could be improved with Ultherapy. I’m trying to maximize my experience and minimize my cost, so I’m pondering which procedures would be best for me. And when. I’m not quite to goal and I carry most of my weight in my hips, thighs, and butt. I am most sensitive about my arms and thighs. Then my neck, stomach, and breasts.

Not much at all...............only that some of the folks that were honest with me.....gave me the jolts of truth and challenged me......helped direct me to change my thinking and behaviors..........helped me extend my life....which was soon to end....and now I feel like I'll live forever since taking their advice.........yeah...those people have been permanently banned. Not much has happened. Sadly.....the loss will impact the very newbies that are posting in this thread the most. I was one of them this time a year ago. I wish them well and hope that they can sift through the bs and find some real solid advice from some real solid veterans. There truly aren't many left and it is a poor reflection of what this place is becoming. I am confused about why advice givers are being banned... I am almost 3 years out from my sleeve surgery and down 130 lbs. My starting weight was 405 lbs. I consider my VSG to be a success, however, I have been gaining and losing the same 5-10 lbs for about a year. I am considering going back across the border to Mx for a revision. I would love to know what VSG to MGB patients have experienced. Especially if you chose Medical Tourism. Also - with the revision, how do they alter an already altered stomach?

Would you elaborate on the side effects?

I would not be so quick to call others a liar simply to justify your own "slip". I followed my postop diet to the letter.

NYE is this week and I'd like to toast the New Year with champagne but I'm nervous about the bubbles upsetting my stomach. I know the only way to know is to try, but I am hoping for some preparatory feedback.

That sounds like you're trying to justify it. You're an adult and not one person here can give or deny you permission. You asked for honesty and you have it. And I may be one of the few who reject the excuse that they "cannot stick to a diet". What we eat and how much is a choice. We choose to "cheat". In no way am I saying that choosing to stay committed to a food lifestyle change is easy. I am a woman who has damn near cried when my sleeve restriction kicked in. It's hard. Extremely hard. But it's still a choice.

I tend to modify recipes I love and make them healthier yet still very tasty. This way I enjoy eating it but don't obsess over it.

I'm not trying to simplify because I've debated this issue in my head constantly. I don't want to be "skinny". At least not what comes to my minds eye when I think of skinny. I want curves, not angles. I want to be healthy and fit. Feminine, not androgynous. Given my pear shape I want to take the mASSive out of ass and add the "oooo" to booty. I want to drop the "hippo" but keep some hips. Reduce thunderous thunder in my thighs to a dull roar. But that's just me.

I just started Divergent at the insistence of my daughter and sister. Catching Fire stayed pretty true to the book. The whole time we watched it it all seemed "familiar". A few things were left out and a few things were played up. But all in all.... Two thumbs up!

My SIL only ever asked about my weight loos when it was fairly obvious I'd lost nothing, or gained. She never asks when I'm showing progress. She's not once commented on my loss this time. The closest she came was asking how my Mx WLS experience was.
