  2. If he hasn't been with you for a long time then shopping around may be a good idea. Your support system should include your PCP. But don't discount their advice simply because you don't like what you're hearing... Just my 2 cents. Keep the change! Amanda Rae

  13. I am planning my sleeve for 3/11/13 in TJ. Getting some negative vibes from my biggest support systems. Spouse. Parents. BFF. They're treating me like I'm taking a shortcut! Like major surgery in Mexico is a shortcut?!?! I can imagine to feedback post op... It does get to me. Amanda Rae
  14. So I am 95% sure I'm going with dr. Ponce de leon. I am planning my sleeving for 3/11/13. I want to try and drop 30-50 lbs 1st. Excited and anxious!! My mom has changed her mind and plans to accompany me. She still isn't a believer but she doesn't want me alone. Amanda Rae
  15. I'm leaning towards Dr Ponce De Leon. The reviews I have read are great. I've talked with, texted, and emailed with Trish. I am feeling more confident with my choice each day. I'd like to do it sooner...
  16. Good morning, I am a brand new newbie and a self payer going to Mexico. I have it narrowed down to two surgeons. Anyone out there have an experiences to share to help me decide. Unfortunatly this will be a lonely experience for me as my support group does not support my decision. Looking to sleeve in March while on Spring Break from college.
