Switching From Depo To Skyla Iud Before Surgery Help!

I have been on depo for 5 years and I don't have my period. I haven't for 3/4 years. I have been cramping on a pain lvl 7 and bleeding non stop for the past few days so I think its time to change. I've never done a IUD and I hear skyla is fairly new. I want skyla cause it's more for young women who haven't had kids. I can't find many reviews on it and was wonder if anyone here is on it. I'd also like to know your experience the first few months of any IUD a s a swell .

I have an IUD , first few days may be cramping light spotting nothing too major .. After about 2 weeks you forget you even have it !! I love it because you don't have to worry about it at all ..

I have the paraguard copper IUD. It was uncomfortable when inserted but nothing worse than bad period cramps. I had spotting for a few days after and light cramps.

They warned me of a heavier flow and more intense cramps when I got it but it's been the exact opposite. It's good for 10 years (can be removed sooner if you want) and has zero hormones. I'll never use another form of BC again! Highly recommended!
