  2. I’m 2 months post-op and have lost 37 lbs. I’m physically feeling great but I feel like my hormones are way out of balance. I get stressed really easy now. Anyone else feel this way and if so what have you tried that has helped?
  3. I too would like to hear how everyone is doing. I'm almost 2 months post-op. I have lost 37 lbs and feel great. I have more energy and I don't get winded easily. I'm getting worried about the hair lost.....hasn't happed yet but from what I understand it starts around the 3rd month. What is everyone eating and how much? I’m worried that I might slowly start to stretch my stomach. I try to get in 70 grams of protein a day and most days its a success. I too have had the hiccups, starting the day after surgery, but they have gotten fewer and fewer. Crossing my legs is a good feeling….thanks for reminding me Marilyn! Hope everyone else is doing great and if you have any food ideas or tips please pass them along. One thing I have been doing for lunch is making chicken salad, I use canned chicken and instead of mayo I have been using Oiko’s Greek Yogurt. Then I add a little bit of powder ranch mix. I love the Oiko’s Greek Yogurt because it not as tart and it is loaded with protein. Good Luck to everyone!
  4. Hey I'm 5 weeks out and was on my period when I had my surgery, But now I'm late and REALLY moody (just ask my family). Does any one have any suggestions for the moodiness?

  7. I had my surgery on Sept 7th. One of the best choices I have made. Excited to have a group to talk to. Good luck to everyone!
  8. I'm starting my 3rd week po-op and I started riding a stationary bike last night. Nothing to strenuaous but i'm really sore on my left side. Anyone else experiance this?
  9. I thinking about choosing Dr Alvarez. Does anyone have any feed back? What about the percentage of weight loss with his patients. I see that some doctors claim to have as high as a 96% of excess weight loss. Does he do all of his surgeries? Thanks
