Have been noticing a strong scent down there postop. When i sit down to pee it smells mediciny and right after I shower there's still a strong scent but not unpleasant. I haven't lost enough weight to get a thigh gap or anything so wondering what's causing this and if anyone else experienced a change in scent postop.

How fresh post op are you? Your urine will smell like medicine/ antibiotics for a little while, while any meds they gave you clear out of your body. It shouldn't last too long, and is perfectly normal.

You could be dehydrated, it could be your Vitamins or supplements or you could have a yeast infection from the meds. Keep track and call your doc if it doesn't dissipate.

Try drinking more Water, too!

Or you could be burning fat and in ketosis. Your breath, body odor etc. will smell different. After sweating you may even have a strong ammonia smell.
