cycles, wtf is happening?

firstly, i am almost 48, i dont have very regular cycles. sometimes they are very light, sometimes heavy with cramping.

4 days after surgery i started spotting. never got a real period. i spotted on and off for a week. i guess it was because of dehydration. 6 weeks later i start spotting again. my period never really starts. i figure it is over after a week of on again off again bleeding. then i wake up this morning, heavy bleeding. huh? very abnormal.

any clues anyone? i realize my body is still in the wtf just happened stage, but this is annoying and confusing.

I think it's time to call the doctor and ask. I know I've read some posts of people who had stopped having periods who started again after the surgery but spotting sounds a bit different.

Maybe a call to dr if possible. I would say it's just hormones going crazy. Do you have PCOS or any other period/hormone known issues?

If you were a PCOS gal, I'd say it's just par for the course.
