Okay girls...this question is a little embarrassing but yeah I need to know. After I get banded will I still be able to please my boyfriend and then...swallow what he gave me? I know a bit weird...but it's something I've always done... Just wondering...:thumbup:

Has anyone experienced abnormal bruising? I have tons of bruising, large and dark all over both my legs. Vitamin deficiency?

I've lost 30 pounds, work out 4-5x a week, and feel fantastic!! But one seriously unexpected side effect of this surgery is my.....ahem....drive. I went from "sorry, my head hurts," or "I'm so tired", or "this book is just too good to put down", to "GET OVER HERE AND TAKE ME NOW!". I don't know if it's surgery, my age, or what, but this girl ain't complaining!

Apparently it was in my stomach. I used to be very high libido. We have had sex once in five weeks! And I don't miss it! I don't feel like I have any drive at all. We used to do it two or three times a week. My husband is very patient thankfully. I am scared it's never going to come back!

I have had dressing room anxiety for years. I have left crying or left and cried all the way home. I was in need of course of new capris today so I had to go shop. I grabbed some 12s I always grab bigger sizes and go down bad habit. Way big. I grabbed 9/10 which I am now in. Kinda big. I put on a pair of 7/8's. Fit perfect!!!!! I cried in the dressing room once more. Not meltdown tears but this time tears of joy!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been a little discouraged because I had a few rough weeks of cheating and being hurried. I have never ever had a UTI infection in my life. Then had lap band surgery on the in Feb of this year, I have had 3 UTI infections since then, When it first happened I didn't know what was going on, now I am so over it, anyone have any suggestions on what is going on and how to keep from getting this?

Today was hard! I had my sleeve done on 4/29/14 so I am almost at 2 weeks. Last night I made my whole in-law family dinner (pulled pork sandwiches with all the fix'ns) and today I made my mom and immediate family dinner (Asian lettuce wraps) .... I am still I the full liquid stage so I had to sit with everyone and drink my stupid protein shake! I wanted food so bad I just hope I'm not the only one going completely crazy!!!

So, I used to have HEAVY Cycles...I had a fibroid removed due to it- Heavy bleeding, clots, long amount of days, etc Now...IDK what happened- I had my surgery on 2/25/13 went from 319 to now 175ish went on the pill for a few months to regulate and then got off of it- was on the one that shortened it to 3-5 days Now Ive been off of the pill for a few month and now it is 1 day a month- pretty much on time then 2 other days after very very very light Im confused- theonly other change is ive gone 100% vegan thoughts/iedas

Hey ladies, I am still a per op and I am going through all of theist just getting prepared for upcoming surgery. My surgery date is May 12. I have read many post about loose skin, sagging breast and saggy vijay jays. For those of you with sagging skin do you think it is a combination of genetics, starting weight age, lack of protein intake and or exercise? For those of you who have been successful with skin, what do you think you have done that helped that issue? I just like to take the combined efforts of all to help that situation a little. So I have surgery on May 7th... I'm hoping I don't start so I'm on my period in the Hospitol... Has that happened to anyone? Do they cancel surgery? Aunt flow is irritating!!!

So, I bled right after surgery but found it wasn't my period but just a reaction to anesthesia or meds. So im almost 5 weeks out and now have my period. It is sooo heavy and all of my symptoms are strong. Is this common? I just never really get it this bad.

So at work in the bathroom pushing pulling sweating, twisting and gyrating...breathing heavy...no not doing anything bad just trying to put on a damn girdle for a wedding tonight...co workers were like are you ok in there ....had to explain to them...lol I am sure we all have these funny embarrassing stories hope someone gets laugh out of mine

I had my sleeve in Dec of 2013. I've been so happy with the weight loss, nearly 60 lbs. gone. I am having issues with loose sagging skin especially in the vaginal area. I have it on my belly too but I plan on having a tummy tuck for that. I have so much loose fat down there and it's only gonna sag more the more I loose. Anyone else have these worries? I'm now googling Labiaplasty because it bothers me that much. I do workout but I don't think there's any exercise that can help with this area,

This could be completely unrelated to the band but I have noticed that since I have gotten banded and started to lose weight, my periods have changed. I have an IUD so normally there is very little flow and discomfort. I have lost nearly 40 pounds and now the periods are getting heavier with much more pain. I am going to see my gyno next week but just wanted to see if this sounded familiar to any of you. Thanks!

In need of some advice....I'm really struggling with this purée diet thing and have started seriously sneaking in normal food in my final week... Granted I only have 1 week of purée left to go, I'm just surprised that I can manage it with no issues plus I now feel like I am hungry all the time?? (like iv stretched my pouch) whereas before I could survive hours in between the liquid shakes and stuff??? Is this normal or have I messed something up already..... When does the "restriction" and feeling of fullness kick in or am I just doomed to fail....? And had a chocolate relapse with Easter so that is not helping either....I'm feeling seriously depressed now

Wait until you had intercourse? It's been two and a half weeks and I mentally want to but I'm kind of scared at the same time! I know my husband would like to. I don't have any pain in my abdomen from the incisions anymore. What was your experience?

Hi ladies. What helps you with PCOS pain? After my sleeve surgery my symptoms and pain has been less. but now when I have flare ups for lack of a better word. It seems more intense. What have you ladies done that seems to help you. So far I haven't been successful in relieving pain.

Ok I am currently 3 and a half weeks out. I have had discharge for about a week and a half. I dont believe it is an infection because it looks like my normal discharge that I have two weeks before my period. Normally I would have my period next week but you never know after surgery. I was just wondering if anyone else had an absurd amount of discharge after surgery compared to before surgery.

I am so sad. My favorite store Coldwater Creek is going bankrupt. They will start liquidation of stores in early May. You might snag some good deals (I did online today), but this is a real bummer. Apparently Chico's is also not doing well. Let's hope we don't lose them, too

DH and I are going on a cruise next month for 7 days to the Caribbean. I am almost at goal (will be 9+ months out on the cruise) and I don't plan to worry about keeping to my diet on my cruise, however, I also don't want to come home 3 lbs. heavier. What have you done when cruising to enjoy your cruise, and accommodate your sleeve, and insure you don't pick up any cruise pounds? I just started shark week (TOM) and I'm having surgery tomorrow morning. I seriously scheduled my entire surgery to avoid this... but here I am! Should I be freaking out?

Has anyone had any drastic changes in their period? Mine has been consistent and I think it's all related somehow to weight loss and nutrition possibly! I've had an ultrasound, blood tests and I am anemic and lacking B12 so now getting B12 shots. I'm also in the process of getting additional tests but thought if ask if anyone else is experiencing similar symptoms? - tired - cold - weak - dizzy when standing quickly - b12 deficiency - constant bleeding, light periods - heavy bleeding post exercise and running - all other vitamins ok

Hi Slightly embarrassing but how long did people wait after their sleeve surgery before having sex? I know this sounds mental but my doctor told me not to do any strenuous exercise for six weeks!! that is too long!! My husband comes home in two weeks. Im four days post op now by then I'll be about 15/16 days post op. I have a very high sex drive and I am already getting twitchy lol. You did you all do?

Has anyone been having excessive discharge post-op? Not an excessive amount but just frequently. I notice it on a daily basis. No offensive odor or anything, just happening regularly...

I am wondering after surgery do your taste buds change and your sense of snell ? I am a chef and am wondering how this is going to impact my cooking skills , especially when it comes to cooking with spices , chili , garlic etc... I love that I'm losing but my skin (especially my thighs) is particularly sad. It's one of those moments where you think, at least when I was heavier I didn't have wrinkles or loose skin! Anyway, aside from a wet suit, has anyone found a bathing suit that helps with this? I live in South Florida so it's summer all year round and I need help covering up! I would love to flatter what I have and not look like I stole an old lady's suit if at all possible.

Really. I'm serious. I have always had a large chest. Even if I get down to my goal weight I will probably still wear about a 36/38DD. Right now I wear a 46DDD. I often wonder, how much of my weight is hanging off my chest? 10 pounds? 20 pounds? I'm looking for ways to think I'm skinnier. Help a girl out. lol.

Okay so they tell me I am post menopause and half way done. I hurt like he double hockey sticks when we ( hubby ) and me are having sex. I am told by the surgeon that I have to take an estrogen pill each night for 14 days insert into vagina. The 2 times a week there after. I just got off the phone with my sister who said she had the same thing and took the cream instead and a year later she had breast cancer. Her Doctor said it was most likely caused by the cream... How does anyone else deal with this if you do. Is it really likely I could get breast cancer from this? If you have the problem and don't take estrogen for it. What do you take or do? I recently have been vomiting from the pain/pressure of a bm. I have looked it up (none mention lap-bands) but I have a lap-band and am concerned. Anyone else get this?

I am pre-op waiting on all report to be finilized. My questions is I am menapousal and have had BioTE pellets for the last 2 years and they have changed my life. Are there any BioTE users? What about after surgery? Do you get the same reults I realize as I loose the dosage should go down.

Since surgery...well, at least for the last 6-8 months...I've had a dryness issue. Anyone else have this? I don't know if it's surgery related or just a coincidence. Nothing else has changed, other than me getting older lol.

Had surgery 2/17/14. Since then I have experienced multiple days of vaginal dryness and I've never dealt with this before. I will be 30 next week...not sure if it's cause I'm getting old and hormones are changing or if it's related to my surgery and weight loss? I lost 30lbs on my own before surgery and i have lost about 20 since then, for a total of 50lbs. I have to see my gyno for an annual so I plan on discussing with her then but I was just curious if anyone else experienced this and what was the reason. Thanks

I've never waxed down there as I'm too embarrassed to go. I know the waxer will be used to seeing every different shape and size, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Anyone else have this issue? How did you get over it? I think it's worse now as the skin on my thighs is much looser than it used to be. I'm going to Hawaii next year, so I want to tidy things up.

I know most of us seriously contemplate plastics such as breastlift n tummy tuck but what about face work? I never thought I would b one to consider it but since losing weight my under chin area is seriously sagging. Does it tighten up any after awhile? Im 49 going on 50 soon. I know I'm ok with everything else concerning my face..I think its a blessing to grow older but without the excess skin under the chin.

I want to know if anyone feels like me and if getting WLS helps..Since being overweight I have ZERO desire to have any "relations" with my husband. Have PCOS and have hair growth on my chin and a little on the sides (like side burns). Does anyone else have this? Did it improve after surgery? I hope so because it is getting to be majorly excessive and I tweeze and sometimes shave it because I can't stand it but by the time I am done with my shift at work, I am getting a 5 o'clock shadow! I am hoping it improves because it is majorly embarrassing and I the thought of any man touching my face because of this is horrifying!

I'm about five months out from surgery and have had such menstrual issues I thought I'd share them! Right after surgery I started having abnormal periods, I'd go about 2 weeks between periods. Figured it would level out but instead it got to the point of having week long periods, 3 or 4 dry days, then back on a week long period. Finally decided to go to the doctor because this was obviously not going to get better on its own. So spent this week having a pap, sonogram, pelvic exam, and a biopsy to make sure it was not cancer or something else causing it. I had sex for the first time after surgery (6 weeks post op), but hadn't had sex in about 3 months total. There was blood on the sheets, like I had my full period (which I'm not supposed to get until the 21st.) I continued to spot when I wiped after the bathroom the next day. Again the next day there was a lot of blood during/after sex like I was on my period, but I did not bleed out during the day like a period. Do you guys think this is surgery related or could I be possible spotting from an early period?

I've had insomnia all of my life. sleep has always been a big problem in my life. I was on Serzone which is an anti depression medication which they took off the market. During the 10 years I took Serzone, I slept better. It causes liver failure. I have problems with my liver because of it. Anyway, of course after spending so many years fat and alone, it's been hard for me to adjust to the sleeping part of having a bf. I really do not like sleeping with another person. This may sound strange, but I had my rny less than 2 weeks ago, March 13. I lost about 15 pounds from the day before surgery until the end of the week on full liquids. I'm on puréed food now and haven't lost anymore weight. I still feel hungry and offer. And not like head hunger- my stomach actually growls! I have no nausea with anything and I rarely feel full. Okay I'm sure this topic is covered a lot here so I'm sorry if there is already another post on this. Anyway, I am wondering about how much the girls get deflated. I have had a large chest even when I was not obese in my high school years and all the women in my family are large chested as well. I know to expect them to go down quite a bit. I just want to know if any other women who have always been busty or have big boobs that run in their family have actually experienced that they still are large chested after the weight loss and how much they did go down. Since I've been 12 yrs old I've had a normal period exact every 28 days. I had my sleeve on December 21st. Well Jan and Feb I had my normal regular period on my correct day. I was supposed to start a week ago today and I have not started. I'm starting to stress and worry something is wrong with me. I'm 100% sure I'm not pregnant so I'm not worried about that. I was thinking of giving it into Monday then call my doctors office, his nurse is a guy about my age I would hate explaining my whole period issue to him lol but if I have to I will.
