Kinda Weird?

I have never ever had a UTI infection in my life. Then had lap band surgery on the in Feb of this year, I have had 3 UTI infections since then, When it first happened I didn't know what was going on, now I am so over it, anyone have any suggestions on what is going on and how to keep from getting this?
