Ok... I know I did wrong, but I need advice. I went out on Saturday and drink way to much, well you guessed it. I vomited for two hours. So now I'm stuck with massive chest pain, and I even have shortness of breathe. Does everyone think the bad slipped, or just inflamed? I called the doctor, and they want me to come in for more unfil, and possibly X-rays.

I had my first fill on 4/26 my doctor said come back in 8 weeks. I have felt no restriction and I am hanging on for dear life with my dieting. Each day I get more hungry and it is getting difficult, I can also eat anything. I want to phone and ask him if I can come back after three weeks but I am scared he will think I am not trying hard enough. What do you guys think?

Are fills generally covered under the insurance if the surgery was covered? I guess what I mean is, my surgery is paid 100% after my deductible is met, which it is, and it includes post op/follow up care... Are fills considered follow up care I'm wondering.. Any experience with it?

I had my 2nd fill Friday (5CCs so far) and noticed I had a headache after, I had one after my first fill. I also recognize that the one or two times I had something that didn't go down well (so far no real stuck or sliming incidents) I got this same headache. It feels like pressure on my brain, and almost like a good sneeze or burp would help, but they don't. It went away a few hours after my fill.

To all those May banders on the pre-op diet...Are you having trouble with constipation? I knew this would happen with so much protein and so little carbs/fiber. This is one of my biggest fears about getting banded. The other more invasive WLS I hear have the opposite problem. I've taken Miralax the last 3 days to no avail. Does anything work for you? Thanks!

I've been banded about 6 months now, and a couple of days ago I got this weird pain around my port, it eventually went away but now it's come back, I've had it for about 2 hours now, it's kind of hard to explain, it's almost like a throbbing pain, it's no excruciating but it's not very comfortable either! Has anyone had this pain before? If it doesn't stop soon I'm ready to call my doctor :/

I was banded on April 11. It's been an okay journey thus far. My biggest wish is for the diarrhea to stop. My question is... I think I have located my port (I see the doc on Wednesday so I'll know for sure then). I think the port is almost smack in the middle of my belly, about 3 inches above my belly button and slightly to the left (I'm very tall so this is nowhere near my bra line). I can see and feel a lump under my incision. Is that the port? Can anyone else see their port? I have some belly fat but I gain weight all over, so my stomach is not excessively fatty. I'm afraid that when I lose weight, the port will be even more noticeable and might even be seen under some…

So I had my bad in 2008, pregnant in 2009, band slipped after my daughter was born in 2010, revised band with placation in 2011, now I'm stretched. They took s lot of fluid out of my band because I'm refluxing and put me on the liver shrinkage diet for 2 weeks. Hoping to shrink it back down. Anyone had this before success or no? Thanks

I have been banded since 2010 and despite my hurdles and complications I've lost 70 pounds. However, I'm stuck at my current weight and eat about 1200 calories per day. I don't pay too much attention to carbs and protein as long as I stay within my calories but the last few months I can't stop eating the sweets and junk and need some motivation to get me back on track. My problem is I just love to eat! In reading people's posts on here that are doing so well, how do I focus and get back on track??? HELP!'n

I posted this back in Feb. : Hey everyone. I got banded in July. By the time it was August, I had lost 20 pounds. I was 235 lbs. I went for a fill in September and they said I gained 5 pounds. Now I was 220. I went back in November for a fill again then they said my weight was the same - 220. I went back in January and I was the same weight yet again - 220. I went in today and I'm the same damn weight - 220. Why am I not losing weight? I am doing my best with eating right. I do go to the gym ... I just don't get it. The doctor says I need a few more adjustments before I can really lose weight. He promised that I'll lose weight as long as I keep eating ri…

My port started hurting a bit last week. It hurts if I move the wrong way or carry something a bit heavy. I am scared to death that my port flipped from the things that I have read. My port has always been sensitive but now there is a pulling every now and then inside. I think now I am hyper sensitive to anything that goes on. Any ideas what it may really be? I am going for a fill tomorrow so I will see for sure.

I have had my band for two years and although I was slow to start working out and making healthy food choices and a bit hard headed a times. I'm down approx 70 lbs and now working out daily and making better choices. Although I've noticed my weight loss is picking back up I've started having bad acid reflux in my sleep lately. It's not every night but I'd say it is frequent. Does anyone have suggestions? I used to take Nexium for acid reflux for ten years before my surgery but haven't needed it since I had surgery until lately and it hasn't stopped the reflux. Does anyone else have this problem? Does it have to do with what I eat or what time I eat, how soon I go to bed a…

So I had a fill scheduled for later in the month and moved it up 2 weeks because I'm tired of gaining and losing the same 3 pounds for the last 2 weeks. I can see from my food log I'm eating less, from my exercise log I'm exercising more, and my pant sizes are getting smaller but the scale which I've always been able to accept fluctuations on before is driving me nuts. Am I jumping the gun? Expecting too much change too quickly? I still get stuck occasionally but I'm not feeling as full as I did during the first month after surgery.

I have been banded for over a year now and have been doing good. I had a slippage and a dilated pouch in dec and I was miserable through the holidays. I went to my dr and they took all the fills out. I finally went back last month and got 3cc put in my band and I have been really tight in the morning and in the evening. So I just have a small window to eat something in the afternoon and keep it down. However this morning I had 1/4 cup of scrambled eggs and I had to throw them up. They wouldn't go down. I had a few sips of water this afternoon that stayed down but I'm just not feeling good. I feel the acid coming up my throat my back hurts and my head is pounding. Do I nee…

If you'll notice, I updated my ticket again, and the numbers are making me happy. My weight today is 267, down from 337 back at the end of December. I have lost 70 pounds in about 4 months and I have only 67 pounds to go until I reach my goal weight. I am more than halfway there. Some small, but important clothing stats to me: - I started at a size 3XL-4XL t-shirt, I now find 2X are starting to become baggy. - I started at a size 44-46 pants, now I need a belt to keep size 40 up. I'm not quite a 1X shirt yet, and not quite 38 pants, but I'll get there, maybe by the start of June.
