  2. I just had the same experience and had a slight un-fill. My tightness was stress related and I went back two weeks later to get a fill and I'm back in the zone! I can say I have let myself stay too tight before and my esophagus dilated and I had to have all the fluid in my band removed for four weeks do it could heal. Took me six months to get back into the zone and gained back 20 lbs.

  4. I had a port revision due to it leaking. Very simple procedure and I was out after one hour of surgery and back home. It was very sore for the two weeks after and I did miss a couple days of work.

  7. I too experience being tight one day and not the next. I've been very concerned that I was too tight so I had a slight un-fill and believe I didn't want to. My doctor told me it was most likely tighter from stress and I have been under a lot of stress lately. Also I was stressing there may be something wrong with my band and that made it even worse yet. Needless to say with my slight un-fill I can eat so much more and have to go back to the doctor in a couple days to get filled. I was in the green zone and need to get back and try not to stress so much. I also asked my doctor about humidity and allergies causing me to be tight and she said that was not possible.

  10. When you all do get the sensations of your band tightening do feel like your too tight and become concerned?
  11. I'm in Tampa and was banded by Dr. Jesse in St. Pete at Palms of Pasadena. I'd love to change doctors and have one in Tampa that is closer. Recommendations???
  12. I have been experiencing for the last month my band being much tighter than normal. I haven't had a fill and nothing had changed. It could possibly be stress but I'm always stressed. The only other thing I can think of is the change of temperature. I live in FL and wonder if the humidity could have something to do with it. Anyone else have similar issues?
  13. Congrats you look gorgeous!
  14. Paula I know how your feeling. I too am trying to get back on track. I was banded 12/09 and lost 70 lbs and then had a dilated esophagus so my band was deflated for a few months and then I had a port revision due to a leaky port all last year and gained back 20 pounds. Since that time I have finally lost the 20 and encouraged to continue due to the support on this forum AND my new friends on My Fitness Pal as they can see what I eat everyday and I'm held accountable. I'm addicted to logging my food and finding new things to cook and it has totally motivated me. Now I just need to get back into exercising! Once you get your mind made up you can do it!!!

  16. Nikki I understand what your going through. I was banded 12/09 and I have lost no weight since December 2012. I just stopped paying attention to what I was eating. Ever since I started participating on this forum and found friends on My Fitness Pal from this forum I'm doing much better. I'm addicted to MFP and can view what everyone else is eating and I get great ideas. Also, everyone else can see what I eat too! You can get back on track and may even need a bit of a fill to get you going. Best of luck and add on MFP "bfigie"!

  19. Thanks Donna I will have to lol into obtaining that book.
  20. I go on Spark People for tons of goods recipies and they have an app for your phone that I love. I did purchase one book from Amazon called "The Emotional First Aid Kit- a Practical Guide to Life After Surgery" that had great reviews but I didn't like it at all. Half of the book was about preparing for surgery and the other half told me nothing new.
