  2. Slept in bed last night, on my back only:-( miss sleeping on my side/tummy. Feeling good! More gas today but I am able to pass it, drinking lots of Mint tea and keeping moving. Getting in my 64oz of fluid, but I am not hungry. I do get hunger pains though, after I drink a little it goes away:-) I got in my 60 grams of protein yesterday and so far about 50 today, but it 's not easy when your not hungry. 4 oz of ff milk and a scoop of protein powder are going down best right now. Gonna do some unjury chicken soup for dinner, that will give me another 20 grams of protein for the day:-) Had a sugar free fudge pop last night, that was refreshing! Not much pain, just feeling really bloated.
  3. I took one dose in the hospital, made me so nauseous I didn't even get the script filled. I used children's liquid Tylenol.
  4. Not a bad night. Slept on my very comfy couch pretty much sitting up. Side sleeping was too uncomfortable. I think I'll be fine sleeping in bed tonight on my back. Got up this morning all full of energy, broom swept the floors, unloaded the dishwasher, fed and watered the dogs, wiped down the kitchen counters and did a bit of light dusting:-) Now gonna relax a bit a have my morning protein shake.-) I have only taken one dose of children's liquid Tylenol since getting home yesterday afternoon. No gas pains, as of yet. I have heard others getting them later post-op. Minimal pain at port site. Plan on getting a shower and venturing out for a bit later. Praying that this continues ...... Hope everyone else that got banded with me yesterday is doing as well or better!!
  5. On my way home from hospital. Process went very smoothly:-) small bit of nausea after taking the lortab for pain, but it pass after a few minutes . I am going to try to stick with liquid Tylenol for pain. I have been chewing on ice and sipping water so far. All and all a good experience. Full liquids for 1 week, then purred/ mushies I'm so excited for them, lol. Hope I feel this good in the days to come!
  6. On my way to the hospital to get my band:-) thanks for everyone advice and support!
  7. Am soo excited! I will be at the hospital tomorrow morning getting banded!!! Down 17 pounds from three months pre-op. Best wishes to the others being banded tomorrow also:-)

Also have lost five pounds so far the last four days. So glad I work the next three days and made plans to keep myself busy so the next Three days don't drag:-)
  9. Well today was the first day of my seven day pre-op, full-liquid diet. It went pretty well, I was off work today (it's my weekend). I had a protein shake for breakfast, Greek yogurt for snack, for lunch the unjury chicken soup (yummy) and a sugar free popsicle. For Dinner tomato soup and another s.f. popsicle. I also had 4 cups of decaf, hot mint tea along with about 34 oz of water. Total of about 74oz of water, 80 grams of protein, 2 grams of fat and 621 calories. Praying day two goes just as well:-)
