  1. Thanks...I will call my dr tomorrow and see what he suggests.
  2. I have been banded for 8 months and been pretty successful. I have lost about 50lbs and am at 5.3 cc. I began having excruciating pain in my abdomen yesterday. I thought it was gas but soon realized it was something worse. It is up under my right ribcage. I have had this pain in the past, but it was never serious. It was so bad last night that all I could do was lay with a heating pad. I still had the pain this morning. Someone suggested ginger tea. I drank it on and off today. Soon after I would drink it, it felt better. After a while it would hurt again. I will go to the dr, but I am leaving on a cruise this Thursday! I know there is no way I will be seen by the doctor by Wednesday afternoon. I guess my question is who has had gallbladder issues after surgery, and what was the outcome? Does anything help so that you don't have to have surgery?
  3. I have been in a plateau for months!! I just had another fill so I am hopeful.
  4. I was told 2-3 lbs a week. I gained one last time but my surgeon wast concerned because my clothes are looser. He said sometimes when we are exercising out weight redistributes.

  7. You have a lot of swelling still. I couldn't feel mine for at least a week or more and sometimes bit at all after that. I wouldn't push and poke around too much or worry. Now that I am 45 lbs down I can feel it with no problem. If you lay flat on your back though with your legs put flat too an do a crunch you should be able to notice it right under your biggest incision.

  18. Hang in there...it sucks but it'll get better when you have a fill.
  19. Stay away from the bubbles. I drink the hard stuff occasionally and haven't had any problems.
  20. I thought the same thing! It does get better. It took me a week to feel better and a couple weeks to feel somewhat normal again. I kept thinking it better be worth it too! It had been. I am 45 lbs down and was banded in June.
  21. Bcbs of fl wouldn't approve any of mine, I went on my husband's Aetna for the surgery and follow ups. I don't have the Aetna anymore, so I will be self-pay for any additional appointments. Good luck!

  23. They eat what I eat and occasionally if it is something my picky 6 year old will not eat, he has pbj. It was harder right after when I was on liquids and mushy food. They were pretty much on their own then!
