I have a 'lap band' which is manufactured by Allergan.

Why?

Just wondering. My surgeon put in a Realize band yesterday. Never thought about it up here.

To me there is no difference, 2 different manufactures that's all. The rules and lifestyle is still the same.

We use the term lap band as a general term not a specific brand.... no one will oust you!!

If anyone tries to oust you let me know.....

Unlike other sites (sleeve) we dont oust people with other surgeries .We welcome anyone with any WLS.the decision to do any surgery is very hard.and we all need support on the lifestyle changes and ups and downs.many of the changes inneating and the emotional stuff we go through is the same and we need each other...goodluck in your journey !!
