  1. Yasso frozen greek yogurt bars!!! Approx. 60 cals, zero fat, 8g Protein Mango, strawberry, vanilla, coconut, blueberry, raspberry Just happen to be created by kids that use to go to the school I taught in. They really are worth a try. (coconut and raspberry get two thumbs up from me)
  2. Or rather, HOW to sip. Are straws taboo? Once my doc said no straws, but later said they are ok. Any opinions out there?

    Proud of mysel!

Good for you. You should be proud!
  4. Remember jr high, high school and the mean girls? Nice to your face, stab you behind your back. Be holier than thou in front of others. Try not to let success go to your heads. Be kind to those that struggle.

    A sad goodbye.

Susan, what an amazing way with words you have. Keep sharing that talent!!! Maybe summer squash can be your new friend.

    First 5k

Thanks for the inspiration. If you are training like that, I can't in good conscience not do some serious exercise everyday. Thanks Creekwood.

    Motivation and constistency

First thought, your screen name is fabulous! "...you are like a morn in spring...and when irish eyes are smiling sure they'll steal your heart away." Now lets both of us be stubborn irishmen and win this battle. You have had a lot more success than me, but maybe I am just slow to get going. You stalled. Do you walk? Wanna have a cyber walking buddy? If we both agree to honestly report to each other, the accountability may help. Or maybe another kind of exercise. Anyway, happy to help, and happy to get help. May the road rise up to meet you.....and the wind always at your back!
  8. From what I've seen you have successful people giving you great advise. If you listen to them, you can't go wrong. Good luck.

    Frozen yougurt

Being an ice cream addict, I have resigned to having only single serving size treats. Less $$ than the ice cream shop, and an accurate serving size. With ice cream a scoop can be 1/2, 1, or more cups.

    what to drink ?

Never heard of an ice craving, but beats craving chocolate! Congratulations on your surgery. I've heard by the time you are thirsty, ypy are beginning to become dehydrated. Maybe that is what is going on. Good luck, hope you find the answer.
  11. Enjoy and be proud of yourself. You have earned it!

    Coffee (not decaf)??

Hey Bindi! Hope to see you next month and Denise too. Dr. A said you were doing great. So glad to hear.
  13. Remember....Evil triumphs when good men do nothing...? Missy, publicly opening people's eyes, because subtle hints have fallen on deaf ears with this person. And I tried pm, I was told not to contact her. Irony is, you have been bashed by her the most. She even gave you a nickname, TGO, the great one. You get mocked daily, privately, does that make her an adult?

    Guilt free summer treat

Not sure the amt of sugar. www.yasso.com has all details. They are in all supermarkets around here. Hopefully you can find them.
  15. Lellow, thank you for your response. My thread was a message for a specific person on this site who's ego has gotten much too big for her britches, as her britches get smaller. Looks "like" message was received.

    Coffee (not decaf)??

Loved the coffee thread.Best posts I have read in a long time! Beans and hot Water....priceless!!!!!!! : ) Thanks for the Timmies clue in. couldn't figure out what the heck you were writing about, until it was compared to Starbucks. Any of you coffee addicts have Marylou's near you? If not, it's worth the trip to Massachusetts! And a bonus to the gentlemen, all the workers look like they could easily work at hooters!

    Banded in January

Makes sense that it may work. Like when they say changing up an exercise routine helps break plateaus. Good luck.
  18. Hope all your hard work keeps paying off for you!

Huge NSVs -- two of them!!!!

Way to go!!! Really happy to read your news.

    My experience is valid!

Good luck and good health to you. Yup, you have written somethings that came off harsh, but your opinion should have been just as valid and respected as others that are candid and don't coddle, who also come off hatsh. I think LBT missed the boat on no cyber bullying.

Map my Walk is a great motivator

Thanks for the suggestion. Going to try it out today! Wish me luck with being consistant.
  22. Joe, Take my physicians advise, don't ask any medical questions from anyone orger than a wlsurgeon. Especially don't form your decisions based on what you read on this site. What should be a social, support group has become a soapbox venue for know it alls, bullies, and narsiscists My doc is dead set against me being on this site. I only come on to visit a handful of PALS I've made. Good luck to you, and again, only take what I said with a grain of salt, I am not a surgeon.
