I noticed on your profile your first doc visit is Nov 28th. That is my son Michael's bday. He has had to over come many struggles. He's a warrier and protector, like his namesake Saint Michael. Be your own warrior, and protect your health. YOU CAN DO IT!!

I take medicine for depression caused by an anxiety disorder.I don't know exactly how you feel, but I know what hopeless feels like and what lonely feels like when you are around people. I joined awhile back as I prepared for my surgery scheduled for 10/30. But my insurance company, put gastric surgeries at my hospital on hold for accredidation to be decided. I love the idea of wanting the hospital to be top notch, but if they are ok to other companys, then why not them. I began my classes, nutritionist meetings, surgeon meetings, counselor meetings in August. Began and finished my pre op testing in September. So Oct 30, came and went, I continue to read posts and learn lots and "meet" the coolest people. But I just don't feel like I belong. I have no advise or experiences to share. The insurance company is suppose to decide by Friday, but I am in a funk and don't feel hopeful. So what have I done since the 30th, gain 5 lbs. I've learned about stucks, but I have a different kind of lump in my throat. : (

I pray I can feel like you do in a year from my surgery. Be proud, you are a role model. : )

I must have won the power lottery in my town. Outages all around we didn't flicker. Phew, but that means we are due during a winter nor'easter
