I recently had my 4mL band replaced witha 10mL band in April 2009, because it wsa leaking, and currently have a 7mL fill. When I had the 4mL band, I had a 3.65 fill, and was happy. I wonder if it's been filled too fast, too much...Initially when it was placed, the doctor gave me a 4mL fill, and since then I have had two fills, a 2mL fill teh first time & a 1mL fill yesterday. I can drink liquids, but I think all of these fills have caused a little swelling. I am just curious what the sweet spot is for others that have a 10mL band. If it's around 7 or higher I'm going to leave it as is for teh weekend & see if it feels better.

I have 5.7 cc in a 10 cc band.. perfect restriction.. everyone is different though

I am at 5cc in a 10cc band right now. I had 4 nice size pieces of pork tenderloin tonight for dinner. So, I am not at my sweet spot. Going in for another fill this Friday.

ok...so I had 3cc'c filled on Thursday and have no restrictions what so ever, I don;t understand why this is? If I am banded and the band is tightened do to saline why wouldn't I have even a little restriction. How does this really work? Do yo usually have to pay for another, if it is only been 3 days since fill?

I think I have around 4.5 or 5 and it has been very good for me.

I have had my band 13yrs in December and it’s 10cc I have 8 in it and in March suffered terrible reflux for the first time so I had 3ml taken out and weight gain straight away. My total weight loss was 7 stone 16 .5 stone down to 9.5 brilliant but I’m struggling now at 10.5 stone 67 kl Had the 3ml put back in but it’s not working properly and I need some more putting in it
