So it's been 10 days since my surgery and I'm down 18.8 lbs from then. Well at least I WAS. Now in like a day I've put back on 4 lbs. Granted I did just start eat the mushy food. Also, I just started my period so it could be Water weight. But either way I'm absolutely FREAKING OUT about putting on the lbs. Did this happen to anyone else? I've never been more depressed about a little weight in my life and I'm feeling completely horrible about myself.

I've never had regular periods. In fact, AF went missing pretty much between 1995 and 2005. (then I had babies and they sorta kinda came back every 5-6 weeks) And I have PCOS. I don't want to get pregnant right now because I'm on this weight loss journey so first I was put on Yaz. But my periods started happening EVERY 3 FREAKING WEEKS! I complained to my doc and he said Yaz shouldn't be perscribed to overweight women bc it doesn't have enough hormones for the weight. So he put me on Microgestin, which is supposed to be stronger. So finally the first month, I got 4 weeks between periods. And now, 2 weeks after my last AF, she's here AGAIN! What gives???? I've…

I have noticed that since my surgery that the time between my cycles is getting longer and more irregular. Last time was 31 days and this time is going on 35 days. Any reasons why?? I thought I was supposed to get more regular! Help!

I was sleeved 12/24. I was supposed to get my period this upcoming Friday. This past Friday (1 week early) I started having very very dark brown discharge. And a fair amount of it. It is still here, but now I notice more red (sorry again for the TMI!) Is this normal? Has anyone had anything like this happen?

Okay, well, I'm almost done losing all my weight... I lost 65 and I look and feel great. Here's the thing. I've let all the saline leak out of my band (I don't need it, the band is PLENTY of restriction for me... I'm one of the lucky few)... not a lot gets stuck, and I can't eat a lot in one sitting, either. Have any of you ladies felt the need to have laser hair removal in the pubic area because of a saggy stomach? I shave, use cream hair removers, and use an electric razor, all because the itching drives me crazy from the stomach hangover! I tried waxing once, and it was too painful. Also, I find that I have a lot of stretch marks, even on the mons, and it makes for a more sensitive area to work with. I have thought about getting laser hair removal, but frankly would be very embarassed since they would need to "lift" the sagging tummy to get to where I really need it. Okay - so I have NO restriction! I have had two fills and I am going for my 3rd tomorrow. The thing is, for the past two day I have had a little trouble swallowing (not painfull) I just seem to have noticed a tightness in my throat area that comes and goes. I am expecting my period any minute and I am wondering if this is giving me a little restriction and since I have not had restriction, I have nothing to compare it to. Ok ladies. I must say I look really good with clothes on. I also must say when the pants come off - not so much. I have the dreaded thigh sag! I cant stand the way the skin on my inner thigh sags. I love swimming, and while I cant wait until it's hot enough I don’t know what I'll wear! Last year I wore shorts with a tankini top. Ugh, this year I think I'll need longer shorts. I cant find a suit w/a skirt that doesn’t look like my granny would wear it. Anyone have any ideas?:biggrin:

I have this strange pain around my right kidney. I know I currently have a kidney or bladder infection and I was assuming my pain was from that. But, it only hurts when I eat. Anyone else had this or heard of it? (I had my last fill last Thursday, April 15th adn the pain started the following Tuesday.) Thanks!

I have only just realised the possible correlation. I notice that if I'm aroused, my band seems to get tight for a few hours after. Could that be hormonal? I am not so tight that I can't eat now, but when I was losing and was well restricted, I found that I would get so tight that I could barely drink. And half a day or so later, I was fine again. Just wondering if others have had the same experience?

My husband died 2 1/2 yrs ago and I had LAP-BAND® surgery 15 months ago. I've had no sex (with a person!) since DH died. Now I've lost 60 lbs and I'm flabby and lumpy everywhere. Hope this doesn't embarrass anyone. I have to be frank here. I had no trouble with orgasms when I was younger. Now that I am past menopause, it seems like my clitoris has no feeling! I get turned on, but I don't even come close to having an orgasm. I know we have some ladies here past the age of 50 who have gone through menopause like me, so does anyone else experience this? Somebody told me to go to the dr. and ask for testosterone, but my doctor will probably freak out. Doctors are all freaked out about hormones these days.

1 week before surgery i started having blood when i wiped. then the day before surgery full on period. that lasted for a few days and then back to just when i wipe. this is still happening, so for almost a month ive been on my period. ive always been very irregular only having a period once or twice a year. is this normal with weight loss, or should i visit my gyn?

Okay, so I have only had sex three times all in the last little while. I am very in love w/my boyfriend and we have been together for almost 2 and a half years. I wasn't ready before now. He has been sexually active in the past and knows what he is doing, but I DON"T!!!! Well, everyone knows that I'm pretty pastey white. So, with spring here, and summer fast approaching I decided to try the spray tan thing. I like the results on my legs, arms, neck and face, but for the inner thighs, boobs, belly, spray tanning left a lot to be desired. I can't be in the sun, or tanning beds due to a melanoma risk, and I'm going through a series of dermatology appts for mole removal. Okay so prior to my surgery in January, I had been on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo for about a year and a half. During that time I also started college and gained more than the normal freshman 15. So my concern now is, how much of that weight may have come from the birth control as opposed to the whole freshman 15 deal? I always have to wear a shapper due to loose skin, and am always looking for one that is comfy and you can't tell you have it on. I was thinking of ordering the Kymaro body shapper and was wondering if anyone has tried it and what you think of it. maybe you know of something better, thankful for any advise. I'm just tired of wasting money on uncomfortable garments and summer is comming up and don't need anything extra making me sweat.

I was banded in may and have never had any bowel problems, since my surgery I have had constipation issues, I knew going into the band surgery my gallbladder was bad. It gave me no prblems again until the last month and had it remove on tuesday last evening I was severely backed-up to the point it made me physically ill. I was up all night but the damn was broke. I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem since surgery. I've included colace with my meds and drink a lot of water. But Oh I need some help with this. Ok, So I recieved my first fill on the 2nd while on my cycle and I have gained weight since the fill. 1st, my cycle has come on WHILE on my active birth control pills. It has been full force for over a week. Could this be because of my 40 + weight loss since November? 2nd, I got my fill and has not felt ANY restriction. It is almost like I didnt go. This is not weight loss related this is me freaking out and I don't know what to do about it. I have been dating my boyfriend for over two years, we are Mormon which typically means dating is VERY short and then people get hitched, but thankfully that hasn't been the case with us, however, we have been talking about getting married for seven months I don't understand what we are waiting for. Okay so I am 20 years old, 249 lbs, and 44 DD. I am getting banded february 25, 2010. I was just curious whats going to happen to my breasts after I lose all my weight. And I don't think its all that appropriate for the fitness and exercise forum, so here goes... I do spin class ALOT. Here's the problem. My inner labia are HUGE and become very annoyed by the bike... but NOTHING has ever given me the same exercise high as spin, so I refuse to quit. Ugggh ! I have a LOT of restriction during my period it's horrid! I've heard plenty of women say that they experience the same. What I've noticed for the last 2 cycles is that I become more restricted when I ovulate. Are you kidding me ?!? This stinks Anyone else experience this ?
