More restricted during ovulation ?

Ugggh ! I have a LOT of restriction during my period it's horrid! I've heard plenty of women say that they experience the same. What I've noticed for the last 2 cycles is that I become more restricted when I ovulate. Are you kidding me ?!? This stinks

Anyone else experience this ?

TOTALLY I know what you mean.

It's only hit me since my last couple of fills, but it's a nightmare. I'm fine during my period, but during ovulation I'm lucky to get Water down. It's really annoying because at other times I'm a little restricted but not hugely.

I'm going to see how I go over the next month and hopefully I'll be able to stick with the fill I've got now. I really don't want to get any taken out, but now it's about weighing up being dehydrated for four days a month as against no restriction. Tricky!

The nurse at my surgeon's office says extra restriction in the lead up to a period is normal and due to Fluid retention - she also suggests Magnesium. Apparently it takes a couple of cycles to work, but it's worth a try. I'll let you know how I go.

Thank God it's not just me!
