Ok, I'm just a little curious how many others are starting to experience a little extra attention from the opposite sex? I have only lost 35 lbs to date but the men are staring to notice me more. I am currently in F cup bras and am hoping after surgery these puppies will go down, but I'm concerned about bras. I pretty much HAVE to wear underwire because my breasts are so saggy and heavy. Many (actually all) of the women in my support group stated that they no longer wear underwire bras post surgery. Do any of you, or can any of you, wear underwire bras anymore? I'm actually planning on having a breast reduction after having children, but that is many years down the road. Is this something I need to bring up with my surgeon in order for him to position the port a little lower or something? Thanks! :confused2:

I was just wondering if anyone had experience with ovarian cysts ? A few weeks ago my dr did a scan and found a cyst on my left ovary. It’s not PCOS and my dr. thinks that it is a corpus luteum that just didn’t break down one cycle after ovulation. It’s been a few weeks and I have to go for a follow up scan to see if it has dissolved, and if not what course of action should be taken. Anyway I have had this horrible bloated feeling that feels like pms bloat that just won’t go away and my pants feel tighter and the numbers on the scale have stopped moving. Body Issue 1: This morning in the shower I realized that my belly flop/apron/deflating stomach/etc is getting really deflated, looks like a beat up loaf of uncooked bread. After losing a noticable amount of weight,and getting compliments from the ladies in my office I noticed that the men WILL NOT say anything even if they notice it. I mentioned to a few men in my ofcie about the amount of weight I have lost. They all say, "Yeah I noticed but I did not want to say anything just in case." Whats with that. I had to educate a few of them. I told them even if you are wrong about saying we look like we lost weight when we haven't; it still makes us feel good. Ladies have you experienced this? I know, this is a no-brainer. Of course men are going to respond to women when they are less overweight. But I wanted to hear some experiences with this. I am freeking 40, never married, I was engaged once upon a time. Been in several relationship dated several men. Kept on hearing--"see me when you lose the weight" "Its not you, its me" "I'm not ready for a relationship(but he marries a few months later" blah blah blah, you all have heard the stories. Ok I read the post a while back about the "fat patch" which is essentially a hump of fat between the shoulder blades and below the neck. Yeah, I have that, but I also have a fat patch on my lower back just above my butt! Does anyone else have that? Is your sore? That patch took away the curve between my butt and my back. In fact, before I gained this weight my butt looked normal now since this fat patch has grown on top of it, it's totally flat! Just like the OP of the fat patch on her back - mine is sore. It is always sore if I push on it. I don’t know why. I really hope this is one of the first things to go once Im banded. That and the doggone back boobies!

My wife is a very strong beautiful person who happens to have a similar weight problem as I do. When I was banded in January she also went on a strict liver cleansing diet, and for awhile actually out lost me. Now after almost a year I am down 90 pounds, and she has gained back 10 of the 40 she lost. She goes to the gym with me, but is not doing well with the eating. She is getting really disappointed in herself because she has put back on some weight. Hi there ladies, Something that has been bugging me for a while. When I was morbidly obese, I had shitty self esteem. Okay, when people talk about losing 4 sizes or whatever, I don't know how that's measured. Maybe someone can help answer my question... Is it based on the numbers? Like if I started at a 30 and am down to a 24, is that 6 sizes? Or is it based on the sizes you see in the stores, so that would be 3 sizes? (28, 26, 24). I know this is a silly fundamental question, but I don't know the difference or how to tell what I've done. I started at a 32/30 and I'm down to a 24. Hi ladies, I have to say that I'm FINALLY having my much needed, long awaited hysterectomy. Should of had this done years ago - I have a prolapsed uterus with little to no pelvic floor and have been living with it coming out of my vagina (or the bulge, anyway) for years. One of the greatest things about losing weight was feeling good enough about myself to go on an online dating site and meeting my wonderful bf. That is when "my problem" started. Every time I had sex, I got a UTI. I went to a urologist and he has me taking an antibiotic a few hours before sex. Now, the next day I immediately get a yeast infection. I can't win. Hello Ladies!! I have been reading some threads regarding being tighter during that TOM. Could someone describe this "tighter" feeling? I am 2 month out with 1 fill and have noticed this weird feeling in my throat (after I eat) starting a day or two before my TOM. At first I thought it was sinus drainage, because it feels like I have to keep clearing my throat, but I think it is TOM related. Any help would be great! Dee

I no longer have boob do (stomach sticking out more than the boobs do)! I had been so discouraged about the scale that I had not noticed that there were still changes. I know that is minor, but it has been a long time since I looked down and saw something other than boobs and belly. :thumbup: Where else could I come and be happy to announce something so embarrassing?!?!

I am tired of my old underwear. It fit fine before. I like low rise briefs, from lane bryant. The "hipster" I think they are called. Well, now my butt has changed shape somehow, because they are super low on my butt cheeks. Like I feel the underwear on the top of my thigh!
