Anybody else experiencing dryness down there, even when extremely turned on?

Tomorrow makes 4 weeks since surgery and today I am 1 week late. I hope I'm not preggo because I had a tubal ligation 5 yrs ago. My question is how late were you after surgery??

So just wanted to share with all you lovely ladies (and gents) my excitement! Im engaged as of tonight! My boyfriend promised me he would propose before my surgery and he did it tonight when I got home from class in the cutest way. Im so blessed and happy AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! LIFE IS GREAT!!!

... My bra's are no longer snug around, but unfortunately nor do my "cups runneth over" either.

Anyone that is post-op...how are your scars? Did anyone keloid? And how do you explain them to a new beau????

Ok I know there are some lady's out there that have to be the same as me. As a fat girl I never looked in the mirror and saw how big I was. I did not see a small girl but never saw how large I was until I saw pictures. Now that I am 75lb down and getting closer to my goal I look in the mirror and see the same thing! I know it's not because everyone keeps saying ohh your at goal or you cant really have 35-40 lbs more to go. I just thought self confidence would come with the weight loss but it hasn't. I am getting a little bit more attention from men and it terrifies me. I think if I look in the mirror and think yuck what will they say!? I am so frustrated because…

My PCP said my best options would be the Nuca Ring or Depo shots, or tubiligation. I chose Depo. He sent a prescription to the pharmacy and wants me to start tomorrow. I called my surgeons office to make sure it's ok with the upcoming surgery, they said they don't really recommend anything but Norplant for me. She said Depo can cause decreased Calcium. She didn't say I couldn't take it, and I don't see why I can't just take extra calcium supplements, since I'll be taking them anyway. I don't want Norplant. She just confused me more than ever. Please, tell me positive things about Depo. I don't care about the issue with having kids after, we probably won't want child…

Ok ladies how many of you went out and got your hair cut after surgery? I know my hair will thin and I hear shorter hair makes your hair look thicker. I'm thinking of waiting until after surgery in hopes my face thins out and I lose my double chin . So anyone with hairstyle websites or pics of cute hair please feel free to post them!

I apply once for SNAPS and I only got it as an emergency. It was a one time thing & I was thinking I was officially approve. I reapply and it took over 3 months nothing happen. I said 3 strike and I'm out. Let me try for the 3rd time. I'm finally & officially approve. My teenager is so happy. We can finally go grocery shopping for everything we need. I'm new to this room but have been in VSL talk for a few months. I'm still pre-op approved on 3/27/13 and waiting for surgeon to call me with a date next week. I'm so excited about the journey I'm about to take. I'm a bit nervous about how it will impact my personal life. I'm single but my son's father wants us back together and married. I'm just unsure and need to get myself together before I can commit to anything. Plus who knows the new me may need to get out there and enjoy life before settling down

My surgery is April 10th and I have met someone he asked me to celebrate his birthday on April 13th. He is also a nurse like me. I hadn't planned to share my special event with him until I knew he was someone I wanted to share that with. I want to stay honest but not sure if I want to share this with him at this time. Any advice?

I think we must have talked a LOT about food, because now that I'm sleeved (4 weeks) we just don't talk much. Also, and this is totally shallow and I'm working on it and praying about it, but: I can't stand to watch him eat. Not that I sit around staring at him, it just seems so constant. Part of it is probably kindof jealousy but mostly I just realize how much he eats when he's just bored or just because. He'll go in for more. And then more. And then dessert. And then dessert again. It's just time. We've been dating almost six months and since I made the decision to have surgery I've been having trouble picturing any kind of future with him. I also realized I want to enjoy my new emerging body! When I get attention form other men I want to enjoy it!!! He's also been shunning my health conscious ways and I fear he could be my downfall when it comes to this surgery.... I'm 6 weeks out and doing great. Did anybody else feel this way? So, I have seen guys (and gals) talking about the size of thier...ehem...package as they loose weight; and even women are asking about their vajayjays. What about the BOOBS? How does this weight loss effect cup size secifically? Should I expect a drop in cup as I lose weight?

I just saw a Poise commercial and I realized that it's been 2 weeks since my surgery and since Spring has come to the Pacific North West my allergies are in full swing AND I am no longer wetting myself when I sneeze. Hehehe, sorry if it's TMI for some.

I'm 3 1/2 months out and never in my life been constipated, I'm constipated and very very uncomfortable, laxatives scare me so i took 2 stool softeners and drank a cup of coffee (even though I'm not supposed to). I've been walking as much as i can with the pain I'm in, and barely was able to bring myself to leave the house to get some prune juice and guava juice (I'm hoping to find some no sugar added guava juice that's actually real Guyana) I just can't believe how painful this is

I'm in week 23 of my journey and for the last 3 of 4 weeks my hair has been falling out. So I decided to search hair loss and surgery. I took naked pictures in the bathtub for my boyfriend..and I kind of liked what I saw! Yes it is my NSV and I like it!!! Plus I am totally sex crazed at the moment..boyfriend refuses to give it up! I immediately throw up if I take too large a drink. Has anyone had this problem when swallowing during bj's? I want to be prepared and not mortified. ????

I've always been a hard worker, but I'm ready to give up on my marriage. For the 6th time in 7 years my husband wants to leave his job. We are in a horrible financial situation. But now, I have put my foot down. Enough is enough. I said u gave to wait until we are out of our financial pickle. He basically said no. So I said I'm done. I'd rather be alone than to keep having him base these decisions solely on how he feels. I'm 30 and feel amazing since my sleeve. I'm down 118 lbs. and I have my life back, sorta. Any help from married folks would be great!! =(

I started my period on the operating table, and had it for about a week, was off for a few days, then had a HEAVY period for about a month. It stopped for two days and just started AGAIN! Anyone else had an experience like this??

This is a little rant. I went to my doctor 1 week out for the routine post-surgery check. She was talking about my daughter's wedding, and she said, "you are going to look so good for her wedding!" I replied, "what do you mean? I look really good now!" I am a beautiful girl (my husband tells me this everyday!). I was before the surgery. I am now after surgery - over 50 lbs lighter. I realize that I look "better". I do. But this surgery isn't a guaranteed fix to everyone's self esteem. If you had really low self esteem before surgery, losing weight may or may not fix it. I am going to tell you a big secret to feeling good and having confidence all the way through this WLS journey. We all have moments where our clothes don't fit right. Even when they are getting too big and loose, it can make us feel frumpy and awkward. Sooo...the secret to always feeling sexy...? Panties! Buying new panties are just as important as having clothes that fit. Go through your drawers and throw out the granny panties, the Hanes her way with holes in them...and get yourself a little something sexy or functional...your choice. Just make sure you feel confident in them and they fit. Those who are girdling it up....that's cool. Just make sure they aren't staine…

I've been using palmers firming butter for a couple of weeks and now swear by it. It gets your skin looking and smelling fresh. Not to mention the flabbiness is GONE.

Hello everyone! I searched through the forums but can't find an answer so thought I'd try this. My surgery is next Wednesday, 2/27, and I just found out that I won a contest for a free tattoo. I have several tattoos already and just want to use the free tattoo as a cover up of a tattoo on my wrist. My question is: when do you all think is an ideal time after surgery to tell the tattoo artist that I can get tattooed? So question..the period the month after you had surgery was it on time or late or weird? My period was due on Friday, and I have only been spotting without any glow..gross I know. There is zero chance I am pregnant..my boyfriend is paranoid about ripping stitches and insists we wait.

Kinda a weird question; don't know if it is gas or something else. I started my liquid diet on 03/12/13; I have been having major pain in my left and right sides feels like it is under my rib change. Did anyone else have this problem? Does anything help? I was told a heating pad, but I work full time, so I can only use a heating pad at home. Please let me know if anyone has had this problem. I also read that is my be my liver shrinking. I don't have a gallbladder so I know it is not that. I also had a full hysterectomy about 3 years ago, I am wondering if something may be shrinking and pulling tissue. Thanks!

I've had my operation on November 27and I've lost almost 70 lbs. My new found issue is this. I work for a retail store with a 149 others(not at the same time). Until now I have been kind of invisible to all except the people I work in the office with. Now I have people whom I didn't know knew my name speaking to me,and telling me how good I look. So now I don't know how to deal with it because I've always been here.And it upset me because what was wrong with me before the weight lost. I'm still the same person nothing change but my size.

I have humongous thighs. I have never been able to wear shorts that didn't reach my knees. Ever. I can't wear a bathing suit either because of the chafing. Last summer, I wore trunks that were too thin out to a waterpark, and came home with a horrible burn between my thighs from all the chafing. Quite frankly, it sucks. The things is, I see girls with thighs my size, sometime even bigger, that can wear short and walk around in them like no problem. Am I the only one who chafes like that? Or is there some miracle to prevent the chafing that I don't know about?

As I was losing weight, I developed a neck wattle. Not super bad -- I mean, it's not flapping around or anything -- but it is definitely enough to make me self-conscious about my neck. I even got a consult with a plastic surgeon about a neck lift back in December. Basically the news wasn't encouraging; once the skin is loose, it's highly unlikely to tighten up much. Plastic surgery can definitely help, but the surgeon said at my age (mid 40s) it will probably only last about 15 years and then I'll want to do another procedure to tighten up again. Ok guys....I keep hearing about all this constipation everyone seems to have had post op and I'm having watery very dark diarrhea poops like 3 and 4 times a day and I'm 4 days post op. What the heck? I attribute some of this to the super-sized bag of IV vitamins I got in the hospital, but I'm on clear liquids only, so what gives! (My apologies for the vivid poo description.)

I meet my husband when I was at my largest. He likes big girls but I'm now afraid he won't be attracted to me once I really start to lose weight. I've only been banded for a month today with 20lbs down. People are starting to notice at work!! It feels great. He on the other hand has said nothing about my weight loss. Okay, I'm a newbie, I'm 20. But I have a question! Is it mean to want all the guys I knew while I was fat to hit on me? BUT I want them to hit on me just so I can blow them off. Lol. I'm nervous and hoping someone had this experience....today I had my preop stuff done at the hospital to include blood work, EKG, etc. All results are good. as I left I was provided with preop instructions very similar to what my dr had provided in my last office visit last week except it also stated to stop birth control 2 weeks prior to surgery. My dr never mentioned that but is aware I take them. I was not taking the pill at all last week because it was my time of the month, but I did take them the first four days of this week. I have been taking Lo-estrin for BC and its giving me awful headaches. I have an appt on Tuesday with my gyn for a Mirena IUD. Has anyone used this before? What should I expect?

Ladies, I am about one month post op and I have have been stalled for about 10 days - ever since I've been on my period. Do you stall like this every month?? It's killing me. I usually have my period 1-3 weeks long. I would HATE stalling for that long every-every other month.

I am down to 178 from 265 and now I am more ashamed of my body than before. My husband loved the bigger me and accepts the smaller me..but I am having trouble being intimate with my husband because of the hanging skin. Kind of TMI topic but here goes: I think I have a problem "downstairs" Had sex with my partner 4 days ago. We use condoms so no issues there. I am now itchy down there. It burns when I pee. It hurts when I wipe. It could be because I was a bit aggressive when checking and spreading down there. I was convinced for a minute that my partner gave me something, he got himself checked, nothing. My gyno isn't free till Friday. I'm freaking out. I've read a few ladies get UTIs after getting sleeved. Can anyone tell me symptoms or signs of a UTI or yeast infection?
