Breaking up with my boyfriend

It's just time. We've been dating almost six months and since I made the decision to have surgery I've been having trouble picturing any kind of future with him. I also realized I want to enjoy my new emerging body! When I get attention form other men I want to enjoy it!!! He's also been shunning my health conscious ways and I fear he could be my downfall when it comes to this surgery.... I'm 6 weeks out and doing great.

Did anybody else feel this way? He's a good guy, just not right for me. Or the new me at least.

I agree. You're young and have plenty of time to settle down and get stuck..err I mean spend all your time with the same guy

  • Your young Rosie! There is nothing wrong with wanting to enjoy your freedom. There will be plenty of time later for seriousness and long term relationships Now go out to Waddell and get a cute wind

I agree. You're young and have plenty of time to settle down and get stuck..err I mean spend all your time with the same guy :D

One thing I learned the hard way is to trust your intuition. You know when something is not right for you, and you dont even have to rationalize it. Go! Be happy!

Yeah It's been a long time fear for me that if I lose weight I will change. I have been with my bf for 2 years but he is almost perfect for me and has the right amount of patients to put up with my mental disorders. I get attention already since I'm a girl gamer but its really going to test me when I get skinny. Anyways do what makes you happy!

Go with your gut girl! If you feel he could be your downfall, leave! I agree in that you are young and have lots of time later for settling down. Do your thing, lose your weight and enjoy being who you are for a while! Your cute and look like fun and there are lots of guys out there to have fun with without being tied down! Good luck! ;)

Thank you for bring so supportive you guys! He's definitely not taking it well and it's good to be reminded here that I did the right thing. I forget how young I am sometimes and forget to enjoy it. You all rock and are a fantastic support system! Xoxo!
