Dying to be thin
That's defiantly a tough situation. I can relate to the guilty feeling. I also admit that be been tempted a few times to make myself vomit. Perhaps thinking about the reasons you chose this surgery in the first place will help when you feel like purging. How has your search been going for a counselor? I saw a thread earlier for over eaters anonymous thats a good resource. Also I know at my gastric center they welcome anyone to the support groups who wants to join. I'd urge you to look in your area for free groups as well. It's common after a huge lifestyle change when we feel that we lose control (like getting sleeved) it often feels like too fast of a change. Since we were used to controlling large amounts of food in our body before, now we can control food that goes out. Perhaps you can find an alternate outlet that gives you similar relief to purging? Art, music, friends? I don't mean to get personal but using your supports such as friends family ect is also very important. Good luck Hun!

Eatin more before your period
- SHOUT IT OUT LOUD----------What do you want to shout out loud?
- Eatin more before your period
Yea I have emerald cravings nothing in particular. I haven't given into sweets in months but I def need to get another hobby not with food haha maybe shopping lol- What to take for cramps
I use those heat wraps that stick to your body. They last all day and work really well I get horrible cramps. Also mild Ativan .5mg if your dr will give it to you works well too or a muscle relaxer- Eatin more before your period
Anyone notice they're eating more throughout the day before/during their period? I feel like in eating too much but I know it's just because I eat so little now. I don't want to sound neurotic but I'm due for my period next week and I already see the bloating/cravings starting. Anyone else have this increased appetite? It's a whole new experience trying to combat this with being sleeved.- Onederland!... And now stalled lol
Happened to me at my period but I kept workin out and are more protein and now I'm down another 10lbs about two weeks later- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved
Sleeved feb 28 down 60lbs.- Dying to be thin
Sounds like you need to address the mental aspect of why your purging and why your going to that extreme. Control issue? Insecurity? past trauma? Any hospital will have mental health services social workers or clinician you can seek out even if you need to go through the ER. They can't refuse you treatment if you don't have the cash. Best of luck- 2 months today..update pic
