  5. Had my 4 month check up & weigh in this morning , I have officially lost 102 lbs in the 4 and a half months since my 2 week pre op diet and my actual surgery May 29th . I don't have any pics of me prior to surgery that are full body ,I hated pics of me before and avoided them . The before and after pic on here is of me in July & a recent one 2 weeks ago .
  6. When I first got home after surgery I was eating ALOT of chicken broth , sugar free jello & sugar free pudding , yogurt , sugar free popscicles . There really isn't alot you can eat nor was I really hungry right after . Good luck with your recovery

  14. I am 11 weeks out , sleeved on 5/29 - I am so lost right now as to what I can and can't eat or what I should or shouldn't be eating . I have ZERO appetite , the smell of food makes me feel hungry but when it comes down to it I just can't eat , it makes me gag . Yesterday my diet consisted of a cheese stick and some fruit cocktail in lite juice . My protien shakes make me sick & my vitamins make me sick . I am drinking lots of water and green tea , but my finger tips feel funny and are all wrinkly looking , my fiance says it means I am dehydrated . I called my surgeon he pretty much told me my surgery is over and I have healed nicely that his job is done unless it's a surgery related issue , I wasnt made to see a NUT so I am in the dark . I am losing weight at a decent pace but how could I not with not eating , I am so worried about my protien and vitamin intake - anyone out as far a sme have any ideas for meal ideas that may spark the hunger in me , or any other advice that may help ?
  15. Hi , I was sleeved on 5/29/13 Starting Weight - 373 Date of Surgery - 362 Today - 302
  16. I was sleeved on 5/29/13 and my belly has done the same thing since surgery , sometimes it sounds like a construction site lol
  17. Well I had my 2 month check up yesterday and it went amazingly well . I was so afraid to get on that scale , a scale has been my enemy for the last 30 years . To my amazement I actually in the last 2 months have lost 63 pounds !!!! I almost cried I was so happy !! Just wanted to thank everyone here for the support & all the advice , I didnt have a NUT or go thru a psych evaluation so i was kinda lost and this forum has helped me many times when I had a question. The pic is a pic of me in march when i had my drivers license renewed and a pic of me now
  18. Thanks everyone for your input I guess time will tell if it goes away , wishin the best for you all
  19. Someone PLEASE tell me my private area wont stay fat after weight loss , sorry if TMI
  20. I am looking for any advice or suggestions when it comes to protein intake , I am currently 6 weeks post op and am lucky if I get 20 grams of protein a day , sometimes not even that . I had my surgery on May 29 , 2013 and have lost a little over 40 lbs . All the protein shakes I drank before surgery make me sick , and I have found that I am now unable to tolerate milk , cottage cheese and eggs but can handle cheese ok . I have no NUT and I am unsure of what all I can and should be eating at this point and am scared of trying new things and risking a possible throw up session . I am sick of canned chicken , and mashed potatoes Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated . I see my dr on the 16 th I am hoping he has a little advice .
  21. I was sleeved on May 29th 2013 and am having a few little issues when it comes to eating . Let me start by saying I had my surgery and was not made to do the psych eval or see a nutritionist , and I am having issues resulting in it. I get such cravings and to sit and smell my families dinner is torture , we have tried by me eating at a seperate time but the smell alone kills me . They made bacon and eggs Father's Day and I had to leave the house , I went to the park and sat in my car and cried . The more i sat there I came to the realization this is MY battle , it's unfair to them to have me make them feel guilty for the foods they eat . I am hoping the more time passes it will all get easier as I try to figure this all out on my own .
