How do you pick your goal weight?
My goal was originally a 20 lb window. I said that I wanted to be between 125-145 because that was a healthy range for my height. My dr settled me on 135 (right in the middle) and said that I should give myself a 5-10 lb window not 20. I still can't imagine being a healthy size. I want it so badly tho! About 3 mos out and still have a long way to go. Not a diet tho right? It's a new lifestyle. Love my sleeve!

A question for veterans about coffee..
Im not a vet- only 2+ months out but I did ask my NUT about caffeine. I'm a coffee addict too She said coffee in moderation is ok- it can dehydrate you so increase your water intake on those days. Also I guess that it affects your absorption of calcium.

July 30th is the day! Who is with me?
I lost 29 lbs. the first month and 12 the second. This month I am much much slower. I'm glad to be down but I'm jealous of the speed others are losing

I must look like a creeper, stalker girl
I do that too! I like seeing people's success stories. Makes me feel motivated!

July sleevers please check in..
I had a drain that they sent me home with for a week. It doesn't feel like anything, it's just irritating to try and sleep on that side or to try to get dressed without showing it to the world. I was very glad to have it removed.

2 months: progress so far
I was sleeved 7/30 and have lost 35 lbs since surgery (44 including liquid pre-diet). I don't really see a difference yet (sorry no pics for me yet- ugh). Ive only just come out of a 2 week stall tho- so? Maybe soon. However.... I have great reports from my 2 month dr appt. I am no longer diabetic (not even close!) no longer need blood pressure medication, my knees stopped hurting and I dropped 71 points on my cholesterol! So... Would I sleeve again? Absolutely!
