Random thought: I don't know about y'all but I can't wait to get the point where I don't need a spanx anymore!...... As a matter of fact any undergarment thats used to hide my rolls, back fat, butt jiggle , tummy, and any other jiggly part of my body..... When that day comes I'm gonna burn them and celebrate!!!!!

Great news! My former friend with benefits may be able to pay me a weekend visit! I say former because we've not lived near each other for several years now so the "benefits" have been non-existant. Now, as long as he doesn't see my Nat Geo boobs & saggy stomach and run screeming for the hills, I should be set. Seriously, I've been dying with the hormones running wild and on a rampage. I've even been lusting after my son's swim instructor and I'm sure I'm old enough to be his mother- I feel like a dirty old man! Talk about panties in a twist! Yikes!

So I notice all of a sudden this week my panties all seem so big and baggy. I know I should go and get some new ones but wonder at what point in your weightloss did you drop pantie sizes? And was it one or two sizes smaller that you bought. Thanks!

Ok. Here is a little of my back story. I am recently divorced and started dating my fitness trainer about three months ago. (Who would have thought that this model looking guy would fall for the fat chick) anyway... our sex life was amazing before the surgery. Now i am 11 days post op and well... last night we just couldn't help our selves but took it really slow. This morning i feel as horrible as i did the day after surgery. Should i be worried?

So I am almost 2 years post op, still has 80 lbs to go. I started dating this guy and have been taking to him for over a month prior. He knows that I have lost 200 lbs and I told him that I have loose skin. But I think that talking about loose skin and seeing it are 2 different things, I wear one of those kymora body shapers all the time and he knows about that too. I have always been self conscience anyway and he wants me to wear a nighty. I honestly don't know what to think, I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone to take a risk but am I just worrying about nothing?

"I got my tube out.. Woop, Woop, Woop, Woop!" I am sooooo happy! I was scheduled to get it out on the 28th. I DID NOT want to wait that long. I was barely secreting anything so I decided to call and ask to see if I could get it out earlier. I figured the worse they could say was no and I would be back at square one. Well, they took it out and removed my staples. I feel soooo much better! By the way, it didn't hurt a bit. Don't be scared!

So this is embarrassing but I ever let my husband look at me when we have sex. I always have a tank top or cami on during the act. Lights are always off too. We have a great sex life aside from that. He has seen me in the shower/changing clothes etc and says he's fine with how I look etc. I still feel self concious. So I'm wondering if that will change after weight loss? When we met I was 232 and that's about where I am now. He's loved me through my highest weight of 282 but I dunno...I just feel so gross and unappealing to have him see me when we have sex. Just wondering if 1. anyone felt this way before weight loss and 2. those feelings went away once goal weig…

This had nothing to do with my band but it is very important im lookin for anyone whos lived in phoenix for over 20 yrs.. Im looking for someone. My husbands been looking for his dad his entire life and yesterday we found out his name and that hes still in phoenix and that he to was looking for my hudband! But i have no address ir contact info. His name is larry white from what we were told back in 1990 would have been heavier set worked at a movie theater. Had a drinkin problem loved restoring cars. Any info at all could be helpful!

One thing that worries me is sagging skin.....I heard that maybe wearing something like spans may help this problem, anyone try this or have any tips for sagging skin??

I'm having major PMS symptoms and I'm feeling very "snacky". Anyone else experience this?

I watching a video on you tube and the girl said she was gassy for weeks and hated to go out of the house. Is this true? How can you go back to work? She also said "Never trust a fart" gross I know, but is that also true?

Have never felt so ugly in my life. Has anyone had any discrimination against them because they are big? I'm so sick of it. Recently I started a new job. So I've been going on Craigslist to find some new friends and such. So l be having a great conversation and the dreaded photo part of the convo comes up. I and my photo and just like that, people stop talking to me. Look. I know I'm not a looker. But I managed to snag a husband at the ripe age of 18 so I know I can't be completely disgusting looking. Ugh I'm so sick and tired of not having friends. I'm also sick and tired of putting myself out there whenever I just keep getting hurt by these ignorant fools.

Does anyone know what taking BCP's does to weight loss? I started taking a continual double dose of my BCP'S so that I'm not constantly having my TOM, and have only lost two lbs in the three weeks since then. My weight loss stopped the day that I started the double dose. Coincidence?? It is totally possible that the stall is just a long third week stall, but I'm about six weeks past surgery and have basically been in a stall for three. And I'm eating my Protein, getting my Water, getting exercise, and having about 600-700 calories daily. Ideas anyone?

Having recently discovered that in the US fluffy means fat and combining that with the fact that in the US butts are commonly known as fannys does that mean that if Queen had been an American rock band the song would have been "Fluffy Fannied Girls"!!!! The mind boggles. That is 1 hit that would never have made it outside of the states!

Oh boy. I had an iud and loved it for 3 years then at my last pap it was out of place so it had to be removed. One of the arms broke off inside my uturus. Oh joy. Anyhow so they gave me the drop shot. All was good until this month. I have been so hungry and craving so much bad food and giving in to it. I will not be taking another shot I can tell u that. I am alomost 3 yr post surgery. I met my goal weight & then some, gained about 30 lbs due to complications from an ulcer which required me to empty the band and go through all the refills, its slowly coming off again. I have a serious boyfriend of almost 2 yrs, he met me when I was at my current weight, was with me when I lost even more and was there when I gained it back. He is SOOO supportive, nice, is soooo sweet said he hadn't even noticed when I gained those 30 lbs. Ok so strange but a few of the posts on here reminded me of a question ive actually been asked quite a few times... When explaining to some people the concept of being "stuck" the first question im asked is "ok so if you were givimg oral and decided to swallow would you get.stuck?" Who the heck automatically thinks of that? Hello ladies! OK - I thought this topic would be OK in this room judging by other topics posted. Last night my husband and I were having a nice moment in bed when I knew in the heat of the passion my port felt a little bit tugged on. I don't know why, I guess my position was doing it. This morning I woke up and my port area was very sore. Like I could tell the area perhaps was stretched or the port was tugged. Has anyone ever felt that? I wonder if having sex could make something worse happen? Gee... who would have thought? Oh and yes, to answer a post in this forum, I also feel that since surgery, sex is better! Thanks!

I couldn't wait the 3 weeks my doctor told me to hold off from having sex. I have been off my birth control pill because it was making me sick. Has anyone ever taken the morning after pill with the sleeve? I just ordered it from my pharmacy and am freaking out. Any help is greatly appreciated!

So the people u use to have sex with do you keep them after Lapband or on to new meat?

My sex drive since the surgery has been thru the roof! Im sure my hubby is enjoying it (sometimes ) but seems to need a break (3 days) . I am feeling super sexy even with just 20 some odd pounds gone. I kinda feel Im more into it than he is. Anyone else encounter this, or am I alone yet again?

Hi ladies, Need some advice! I am taking oral birth control right now and really like it. I actually was recommended by my gyno to take it continuously so I skip my period (I get horrible PMS and cramping) so I only get my period about 4 times a year which is awesome! Has anyone been okay to take orals after surgery? I was told I may need the ring, but I cannot take that. I tried it before and had horrible and gross side effects. Can I have some input for oral BC after surgery? thanks!!!

Hi all, So I just kinda needed to vent. I've struggled with depression/anxiety for as long as I can remember (I'm on Pristiq). I KNOW when I am experiencing the "usual" depressed or anxious moments. This is different, much different. I am going from being elated over this whole experience to confused and hopeless. The awesome moments are more often than the lows, but I must say, the lows come out of nowhere sometime. Earlier I was on Cloud 9 and then within 30 minutes I was confused, crying, and frustrated. This happened the night before my very first consultation. What a coincidence, right? I was picking my husband up from work. I have 6 and they are placed like tic tac toe 3 in a row at an angle the first set start almost between my breast and angle down and right the next start to left and down in same direction. I have read on here that they were lower on other women..The second row starts at my bra line..So I have two that sit where my bra sits..anyone else????

Since loosing 100 pounds n 9 months I have not had a period. At my highest weight I didn't have periods either now that I'm gettin healthy my bmi is down 13 points it has never came. And nope I'm not preg. Any thoughts?

Any of you ladies out there with your nipples pierced? I've been contemplating it for a while now. I have pretty flat nipples (not exactly inverted just flat) and I am wondering if getting them pierced will make them seem less ... flat. Thoughts, opinions, advice?

I was wondering if anyone has large tattoos that were done before their surgery. I have a pretty big one on my side (used to hide stretch marks) and I'm wondering how it will warp. I'm fairly low BMI, so I'm hoping that it won't look completely crazy later. I also wanted to know how long before and after the lap band surgery I need to wait until I get that tattoo worked on (its a work in progress). I don't believe it will be in the same area as the surgery scars unless I'm not finding the right photos of people's scars online. Thanks, karyn

I feel like I have a lot going for me. I'm 23 years old, a nurse, have my own apartment, car, pay my own bills. I have lost 50+ lbs since my surgery and have more confidence now than I have ever had in my life. I do get more attention from guys, but they all seem to be douchebags or at least 20 years older than me (No, really, the majority of attention I get is from older guys and I don't really know why that is). I have been told by so many people to not go looking for boyfriend material in a bar, but I don't know where else to go! Im having really bad cramps as usual. Before my surgery I would usually take Excedrin extra strength and now im stuck with Tylenol which doesn't do a thing. Is there anything else I can take to help(im not allowed nsaids)

My surgery is July 3rd and this month I started taking Nuva ring. . . Can anyone tell me if I need to take it out prior to surgery or if I can keep it in. When I called the dr's office the nurse wasn't sure and he wasn't available. I am just impatient thanks!!

This has nothing to do with weight loss...but I'm just really annoyed and need to vent. Who doesn't have sex on their anniversary?...apparently me and my husband.I'm so mad!! Like how can you be ok and whatever just watching a movie with me while I'm on the bed and you lay on the floor?! Ughh... I'm going to bed...just looking at him makes me mad. Men...i swear.

He insisted I stay home so he could ake care of me and my kid. But nothing has been cleaned. Dishes a week old and I am only six days out still with a lot of muscle pain I feel a emotional break coming and him as my focus for letting me down. I want to be patient and not go crazy on him but admit not even trash has gone out in four days my normaly clean house and I can't even invite people over.

It's a week before my time of the month and I have a feeling that is the reason why I have been craving sweets (especially ice cream and choclate) like crazy! It's driving me bute because I don't want to put on the 7 pounds that I lost so far. How long after surgery should one wait to get back to a normal healthy sexual relationship?

Hi guys, So I've only lost about 30 lbs, which I'm so happy about. My body is changing everyday, all my clothes fit differently. I've gone from wearing 20's to 18's and some 16's. It's a great feeling. But now I've noticed my boobs shrunk! I went from a D cup to I think a C cup. I hope it stops...my hubby loves them!

This is my second period since surgery. And both times I have gotten dizzy and feel very warm. Anyone else have this problem?

Hmmm... So I have always had body image issues, especially when heavier. In fact, I didn't date for nearly 10 years because I felt like I was too disgusting. Okay...this is a very embarrassing question...but I am curious none the less. Joking around with my husband the other night. He asked why I was tired...I said its probably because I didn't get all of my protein in for the day. To which he responded "I've got your protein"....typical guy. Hi! I am about 5 weeks out from my lapband surgery and am still having discomfort around the port area. I think I've healed pretty well on the outside, but for some reason I can't roll to the left side while in bed and sometimes I can feel it when I stand after sitting for too long. Is anyone else having this trouble? Or if you had surgery a while ago, do you remember about how long it lasted? I have not had my first fill yet, scheduled for 5/29. Thanks!!
