  4. So i havent even done anything to do so but i lost a few pounds in the past week. I saw 189.8 this morning...not sure how long it will last but i was in the 180's today so i was happy! Oh and i went shopping this weekend and i can now fit into a size 36 C bra...no more 38's! I even went to Vickies and bought a few bras...i havent done that since Freshman year of college. Hope everyone had a great weekend and keep up the good work!
  5. I am kind of curious too about which cleanse you are doing
  6. Do u mean upper gi? I had one of those before surgery but that was at the hospital not my pcp.
  7. It did kind of feel like a waste but its my last appt so i figured id go.
  8. Soo i had my one year with the surgeon. He wants me to aim for 150 and not 170 since he says most people will regain 10percent back over time so it gives me a little wiggle room. Also asked him about my jiggly tummy and he said to work on my core and it would tighten up alot as i dont have alot of skin like i thought just alot of jiggle haha. He also said that i should wait another year and by then anything i want done would be cosmetic...i was thinking a year anyways so i guess ill need to start working on my core and see if that helps. Over all he didnt complain that i wasnt at goal but did mention that the losing period is over so going forward its all on me. Sigh so 20 lbs turned into 30 or 40 lbs left to lose. Blah. Oh well just gotta look at the bright side that i have lost almost 90 lbs!!!
  9. I have my one year appt today with the surgeon...i hope he doesnt say i didnt lose enough lol i personally feel i am within twenty pounds of goal and that five of my pounds is excess skin etc. Im gonna ask him what he thinks and if its too early to look into plastics etc. Ill let you all know how it goes!

  13. I take it you havent been sleeved yet? Or have you? On the two week liquid diet i slipped up about 3 times and i wont lie i needed to. I still lost 13 lbs. Not saying that you should but a little bit of chicken is not going to ruin everything...that being said if you are post op and only a few days out you will not enjoy the feeling. Why would you need to take a laxative? With mostly a liquid diet you will pass any solid food you eat pretty quickly. Besides a quick weight loss they want you to do the liquid diet to clean out your bowels as a lot of people get constipated after the surgery. You slipped up not the end of the world..just move on from there! We all make mistakes
  14. You started out at a low weight to begin with..i think u have done great! Maybe your body is more happy at 165 range? I wish i was closer to 170 myself but im happy at a size 12. Every is different but congrats on your year..i hit mine on the 5th. Maybe try upping your calories? I eat 1200 to 1400 and i dont lose but i dont gain. I go over that sometimes and i lose lol go figure. Its all in tricking your metabolism and under 1000 isnt healthy maybe your body is in starvation mode? Try 1100 cals and see how that works..eat every couple hours and its very easy to get that much in. It will all fall into place. :-)

  16. I had a surgery on a Wednesday and i felt fine within a week but i was just tired. I took a week and a half off from work and i was fine to go back the following Monday. Everyone is different though. But more than that and i would have been pulling my hair out i was so bored!!!
  17. Ditto...thats a crazy amount of weight :-)
  18. It is kind of weird i was thinking today i havent weighed this much since 7th grade..and my goal is what i weighed in 6th...ugh lol
  19. OMG...just updated my ticker...and im NO LONGER CONSIDERED OBESE!!!! JUST OVERWEIGHT!!! ....crazy...
  20. There is nothing wrong with ONLY losing 53 lbs!! Thats 53 lbs you didnt lose before the surgery. I just think you need to figure out what works for you...i went four months this year without losing a pound and it took me awhile to get my head back in the game and slowly its coming off. Also does the 53 lbs include pre-op loss or is that only 53 since the surgery? I still think youve done great
