[font=lucida sans unicode, lucida grande, sans-serif][size=4]I've been struggling with weight and self-image my entire adult life. I never thought I looked good enough, regardless of my weight. I finally got out of a toxic marriage and lost 90lbs with very little effort. Then, after a few years, I got married again. I love my husband, but this has been an eventful ride. I've gained every bit of the 90lbs back and then some. [/size][/font]

I've beat myself up until I realized I was killing myself - emotionally, physically and spiritually. I know my only option is WLS.[/size][/font]

I hope and pray it's the end of the tunnel and NOT attached to another train. The surgeon's office originally had me scheduled for RNY, but the surgeon said he would only perform VSG due to my family history and my previous smoking history. I've seen another surgeon, but went back to the original surgeon - I trust him and trust that he's looking out for my best interest, not his.[/size][/font]
