  1. I had the same problem almost immediately after surgery on Sunday night I called and was ok'd to try sleeping on my stomach and it has done wonders. Not saying I haven't been bloated since, but laying down for 5-10 minutes takes care of it. Best if luck to you! Rlfoster banded 3.15.12
  2. When I decided to go through with the lap band, I had only discussed it with a free very close friends, inhere who is a fellow bandster. In January I let it slip to my mom and then it seemed like over night everyone in my life knew. 99% of people have been very supportive and those that haven't, well honestly i'm doing this for me so they don't matter. I've been researching this for over 2 years and knew without a don't this was for the right decision for me. My best friend was against, so I invited her to a seminar and it changed her mind she is one poof my biggest supporters. I'm proud of the decision to take control of this part of my life. And you should be too. Good luck to you Rlfoster banded 3.15.12

  5. Well took my bandages off today and was better than I expected, I have one that is kind of puckered, buy not worried about it, the port one impressed me, looks pretty smooth already. Back to work tomorrow so my doc suggested making a ladder of bandages to keep them from fiction. Hope all is well!
  6. How soon after banding did y'all have sex? I'm scared of jarring things loose, and my local support are all guys.
  7. Where do you get the unjury shakes?
  8. New to this forum, surgery was 3.15, so i'm heading into day 3 post op and quite a bit scared. I've been warned day 3 is the worst rough most surgeries. I had a hernia repaired at the same time and i've been having the horrible shoulder pain. Haven't slept much cause I can't get comfortable. I know this will get better, but I am miserable right now, I also am sooo tired of protein shakes. I had to do a 9 day liquid no-sugar diet, more I just don't have the imagination to "eat" anything appetizing. My bandages come off today and i'm a little nervous about that too... Listen to me i'm a mess!
