My husband is driving me crazy. He knows what I'm going through, he's been to all my appointments. He has read all my diet information. I have had nothing of any nutritional value for 2 weeks. Even if my stomach isn't physically hungry, my body is starving. All my husband talks about is food. We're on the phone talking about registering our kids for school and he pops in "ooh, can it wait, I'm gonna make me some eggs.... And some cheese toast that looks good." I've asked him several times to stop but he just says "i love you" and blows me off. I literally walked to my moms house. I thought you lost boobs after surgery .. Then why the heck have I went from a 36b to a 38c ??? It's like all my fat is going to my boobs, hips , and ass !! My waist is shrinking as well . I'm confused ? .:Never been plus size... only size SEXY:.

It been day 5 since I had surgery I can't keep nothing down ;( it hurts to drink walk and even talk all I can do is text and that alls today I threw up so much my mom was worry but I was able to sleep and try not to.worry myself. Idk what to do I'm lost

So the hair on my head is falling out..which can be a normal process...but as I was getting out of the shower the other day..it appeared I had more hair down "there". Anybody else experience this? I am wondering if it is because since I am shrinking it just appears more hair is there because the follicles are closer together because of the shrinkage..I know ..weird question but just wondering if anybody else has noticed. I'll try to limit my weirdness to one question per day!

Ave any of you post-op sleevers noticed a change in your sex drive after losing the weight? My sex drive has been at zero since I got heavy and it's really taking a toll on my relationship with my fiancé. I'm really hoping that dropping some serious weight will bring back my sex drive.

Ok. So I know this is gross but I need to hear that someone else has experienced this. When I stood up to flush I noticed an oily substance floating in the water. It was orange in color. Scared me! Please tell me I just had too much fat today and it didn't absorb! The only thing I ate out of the ordinary was a Brownie the size of a quarter.

I started TOM last week right before surgery. luckily stopped over weekend. now i'm having spotting but no other symptoms. I took some medicine yesterday to counter-act the heavy antibiotics that would cause a yeast infection. Could i have a bladder or other infection caused by the antibiotics? Never had one before and not sure what to do.

OK...so one of the things I am most looking look forward to post-op (surgery is Aug. 28th) is wearing boots. After more than 30 years of being overweight and more than 20 trucking up 3 flights of stairs in my parents house, my calves don't fit into "regular" knee-high boots. I just want to fit and buy and wear a pair of boots that actually zip up all the way and maybe even, dare I say it...can tuck a pair of jeans into! Have any of you post-op ladies acheived my dream yet? Just looking for a little Wednesday optimism... V

Quick question... Anyone have facial hair due to PCOS and have the symptoms of that (or any/all) die down or go away completely after weight loss?? Thanks

I got home and the next day I got hit like a steam train with my period. PIssed me off. lol It wasn't even due until two weeks later. I was actually hoping that the stress from the surgery would make me not have a cycle or two but NOPE.

Just realised (while answering the leg shaving thread) that since the surgery I have been taking better care of my self all over. I exfoliate all over, shave, pluck, wax, mani/pedi, moisturise, oil, preen and basically spend way more time on me than I can ever recall doing before. Is this a common phenomenon or have I just become more vain? I feel good. And I think I look better than ever. So an old friend of who has never met my husband and has a pretty crappy husband has reached out twice to my husband on facebook via private messages. The questions where asking about me and how I was doing. I am capable of answering these questions and I wonder why she is asking him and not me. When it happens my husband tells me immediately and tells me that he thinks its weird. I always brag about him because honestly he is freaking awesome and handsome. Not sure what to think. Can you guys share your input?

Hi everyone, I know this is totally random. But I have a really sore throat (burns when I swallow) and here and there strange ear pain, my jaw is killing me, and my lower back wisdom tooth around the area is red. They started growing 2 years ago.. is this normal? What type of pain do you get from wisdom teeth??

So those of you with children may have experienced the small or rather weak bladder since childbirth. We after my second it has gotten worse. At one of the rny seminars they told me that obeseity can also be a factor in having a weak bladder. So those of you post op have you noticed a change? I am to the point of almost peeing myself.

I had told myself that my reward for reaching 100 pound weight loss was to finally get a tattoo. I'm getting close to that goal and am getting excited. I am getting a small one on my back over the right shoulder blade. My concern is that I still have another 100 pounds to go and am worried it could change the shape of look of the tattoo. Suggestions or comments??? Please!?!

Anyone else doing this? I am about midway through the process of getting my sleeve and I've spent HOURS looking at the new styles for fall and winter! It's so exciting to picture myself happy and stylish and working the single-digit-sized clothes! And don't get me started on hairstyles! I find that looking at websites for wigs (yes, WIGS!) gives me a lot of ideas for styles that might work for me once I set my inner skinny girl free! Wheeee!

I have been looking at shapewear to hold everything in while I shrink -- hoping this will help with the impending saggy skin problem. Has anyone used any sort of shapewear for the upper arm area? I've read where doctors are telling patients to stay off of their birth control pills before and after for a while, but what about Implanon? Does anyone have implanon and had it in place during surgery? I really hope I don't need to take it out, because I still have some time left on this bad boy.

I have never wore a dress in my life so I dont really know what looks good on me. Its going to be a small wedding. Hi everyoneeee, I just had my sleeve almost 2 months ago and I've lost 20 kilos so I'm really feeling great about that. But a big problem in my life is my mother, for as long as I can remember (I'm 19) she has always been very verbally abusive to me, she puts me down constantly, swears at me, and compares me to my older sister who is the *golden* child. I can't handle the fact that she still brings me to tears with her harsh words. I feel sometimes like just running away and never coming back, but I really love my father and id never do that to him.. because of my culture I wouldn't be allowed to live out of the house outside marriage, and that really sucks. My boobs have always been my best asset. Plus my hubby is a boob man. I'm only 24 lbs downs and they are deflating at a rapid pace. I could bet 20 of my LBS were lost in my boobs! A good push up bra? Something's needed. I'd hope that maybe the lbs would redistribute to my butt or something. I've always wanted a big, shapely butt. Got boobs instead. Now my proud girls are singing a swan song. Hard to adjust to seeing the gyrls leave town.

After my suregy August 6 I will focus on the things I been wanting to do in life. By June 2013 I will be graduating from college and I hope to be 120 pounds lighter. I'm 268 and very insecure about myself and body shape. But I will do everything to be my goal 130 !!! Okay so i know a lot of people gain weight being on the pill. But what about us who have had the sleeve? do we not lose weight as fast? Or do we stall? Im a few weeks post op. I stopped taking the pill because i had gained weight...i dont wanna gain weight after working so hard to lose it...so anyone have any advice on that?. I renewed my birth control its a pill called necon...the dr told me i can get other things but like i said i don't want weight gain. So whats everyone taking? Hows it working out for you?

So they discharged.me around noon. Had to go on a wild goose chase to fill my medicine. I guess the car trip broke all the gas up because now I am bloated and it hurts horribly. Idk what it is but this birth control- all I've tried make me feel miserable. Currently I'm on the NuvaRing and love it for convience sake but the hormones are unbearable. I just don't know what else to do.

I am worried I will resent my husband for treating me differently after losing weight. When we met I was much thinner and I definately notice a difference after the weight gain. I am worried that when I lose the weight he will start treating me differently and pay more attention to me especially when we are out in public. Anyone have that issue? I saw the dietician Today. I feel good he measure my belly. Wow! I have a 33 inch waist it was about 42 inch before surgery & diet. He advice me on food & such. He told me he doesn't want me eating anything with fat. So make sure it's zero. I guess now I have to watch out for sugar & fat. I come home feeling good next appointment in 2 weeks. Hubby goes on vacation Monday for a month. If you don't hear much from me don't worry I'm fine. We go out together and such so I don't want to ruined the summer by staying on my lap top on itouch. We do local but might go away take the kids out to six flags.

Am I the only one that seems to lose better during TOM? I didn't lose anything from July 1st - 10th. On July 11th I saw signs that TOM was about to hit. I started losing that day and have lost weight every day since. I went from 234.8 on 7/10 to 231.4 today. It is the BEST part of TOM in my opinion.

I'm not sure if this goes here or in Fitness, but here we go: Some areas of my body (tummy) aren't moving much at all as far as shrinking. I know, I know, tummy is the last to go. However, I'm noticing major changes in other areas, like my butt and hips. I used to be fairly bottom-heavy and now I'm more in proportion, except for that darn tummy. Has anyone else changed from a pear to an apple shapewise?

I am so frustrated that I have NO BOOBS LEFT!!!! I, of course, have plenty to share from my butt/hips. I am left to "pad up" with various lingerie. I had a tummy tuck in January and feel great, just wish "the girls" could get work done too. Oh well, 1 plastic surgery for a lifetime is good enough for me. Have a great day, ladies!

So I haven't had a regular period in years and for most of that time they were nonexsistant. But now with my weight loss I started a very lite period oh about two months ago and now in the past three days it is out of control. I have never had cramps or back pain like this and never ever so heavy. I haven't dealt with this in years and it's kinda freaking me out. Is this something that happens often with the weight loss?

Sorry guys if you're reading this ---it is the powder room after all. So I started my period a couple days before I was sleeved. Which sucked because that meant having to go through the surgery during my TOM. But now I've been sleeved for ELEVEN days and I'm still having my period!! Granted, it's not a heavy flow at all, but I'm used to a three day period not one that's THIRTEEN days and counting. What the heck is going on?!?
