Saw The Dietician

I saw the dietician Today. I feel good he measure my belly. Wow! I have a 33 inch waist it was about 42 inch before surgery & diet. He advice me on food & such. He told me he doesn't want me eating anything with fat. So make sure it's zero. I guess now I have to watch out for sugar & fat.

I come home feeling good next appointment in 2 weeks. Tell hubby why the f** did I do that for. He starts with why do you need a dietician for? You don't know how to eat? Who you were raised by didn't they teach you the right way to eat? I was like ok I'm sorry I mention anything. I won't say anything else. He says my 4 year old needs one. (She has a nutrionist & she's still not gaining enough weight, but she's fine.)

Now I'm feeling sorta bad. Like only this group & Facebook has support. I feel sad like no one cates but I'll be fine. Thanks for reading

Hi mami. Im sorry you are going thru this. I went thru the exact same thing for 6 years, every day the verbal abuse got worse and then it turned into physical. I was made to quit my job and I lost all my friends because he couldn't handle me going out with them. I got the courage and put him out.

In our part of the world we don't have shelters or any government assistance, and I managed somehow without borrowing a penny. I am praying for you. You will come out of this stronger I promise.. Keep that attitude girl.

Not everyone that gets disability checks sit back and relax. I certainly wasn't implying that you should or that you would. I haven't returned to work bc my daughters condition could go from normal to critical and life threatening in a matter of a few minutes. I do not want to risk an overworked or frazzled childcare provider not recognizing her symptoms and something happening. Most daycares consider her a liability and will not accept her.

I know I was just saying that I want to work especially with rent beeing expensive & such.

Domestic violence centers are equipped to Handel special needs kids . Sorry live is not good right now it will get better .what does not kill us makes us stronger at least that's what they who ever they are say . The kids are everything and you sound like a great mother.

Thank you it's so easy to go & do stuff but when you have no help it's difficult. I go for less then 2 hours do my mails & I find my 15 year old in charge of the kiddos. Hubby leaves the kids all alone all the time. I try to take them out with me but don't want to damage there lungs Smelling chemicals at a salon this is the reason I don't take them there. I guess I will have to or leave them next door eating mcdonalds till I'm done. It's so hard my 15 year old is the best daughter in the world but her dad is putting pressure on her. I ask her to help but I'm home helping. I'm not outside leaving her the responsibility of watching her bro/sis..

I'm sure I've already gotten enough advise. Im putting in extra prayers for you. :)

Thanks prayers are always welcome

I know Im new to this forum but after reading through this thread, my heart hurts for you. I'm so sorry you and the kids have to deal with this. I hope you can get out of the situation sooner than later.

Keep your chin up. I would say if your not 100% set on leaving. Start doing your homework and have a plan in place if it come to a "have to" then you will be prepared.

I will now instead of surgery I will be saving to move. I don't get much but the little I get in a year will be over a thousand so this is my new plan. I can always have surgery another time after I leave. By that time my daughter will be an adult so I won't have to worry who the kids will stay with. Unless I become a super seller in the flea market & can double the money & have money to move & surgery. Or win the lottery I will move faster then fast. I can then pay my own bills & buy everything the Kids need.

This is excellent advice.

Mammio there are a lot of resources out there for you and your children take advantage of it. No one deserves what you are going through.

Yes there is but there is not a good paying job to pay my bills. In the USA you are nobody with out credit. I'm trying to get a few things straight first. Then save money to move. Even with moving to apartment I have to have furniture especially a bed for my kids. I'm thinking ahead of time because just leaving cuz I'm mad with no money & no where to go would be a stupid move on my part. I wanna do it the right way.

Keep your chin up no man will make you a strong woman you have to do that your self.
