  4. I had the conversion back on July. In the hospital for 3 days out of work for 2 weeks felt great after a week. Had no issues at all. Good luck!
  5. My calorie intake is really low on mfp. I saw my nut and she said 1200 calories and 150 carbs a day. Try getting that in lol
  6. Do you have vacation time you can take instead of sick time?
  7. My dr recommended Bariatric fusion has all the Vitamins and minerals I need in one chewable tablet. I take it four times a day. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  8. I just had the clothes on my back with extra underwear. I did bring a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, hairbrush and elastic for my hair. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  9. I'll Definately get gas x. The eggs have been in egg salad but it could be the chewing with air. I just hate waking up like that! Never had it until now thought I was one of the lucky ones lol
  10. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow. I had eggs both days but one in the morning one day at night. Very puzzling.
  11. Marshall's has all sizes. But of course the larger sizes don't have much of a variety. Smaller sizes the have a ton of varieties.
  12. All my clothes are too big. Had to buy some 16s this weekend. One pair was from the 'missy' section of Marshall's not the woman's. Felt great!!
  13. For the last two nights I've woken up with horrible gas pains i tried curling up in the fetal position hoping to fart (sorry to be blunt). Only to have to poop (again sorry to be blunt) a few minutes later. I'm hoping it's a fluke but had anyone else had this problem. Oh and to be blunt again it's green poop which for me has been normal. The doc is ok with it as long as I don't get the chills or fevered.
  14. Adding the protein to the veggies kills two birds with one stone. When I had the lap band they were a waste of space today I love them. Protein and veggies!!!
  15. You will lose it just need to follow the drs and nutritionist orders. Drink all ur fluids eat right and exercise and it'll happen.
  16. I was afraid to try the chobani because it has soo much sugar, so I got the Dannon Light & FIt Greek but it doesn't have alot of protein - so when I told my nutritionist about it, she said to add at least 2 oz of chobani 0 plain and I'll meet my goal for the morning. Love the blueberry and cherry!
  17. I was banded in 2007 and revised on 7/23/12, so far I've lost 30 lbs and feel great and love seeing the difference something I never got with the band - wish I did it in the beginning. It's totally different than the band, you have alot more food restrictions. Before with the band if I coudn't eat a piece of meat, I choose ice cream (my weakness) or any type of chocolate because it melted and went right through the band. With the bypass, you're sugar intake is much different (at least in my case). I did try no sugar added ice cream and dumped! I won't try any chocolates, not even sugar free, just to afraid. With the band, salads were a waste of space, today, I LOVE them with protein. One thing you should ask your doctor and yourself, that if there's not enough room to perform the bypass, will he/she open you up? My surgeon didn't have enough room to manevure (sp) and considered an open bypass - to which I never discussed with him or my husband - not sure if I would've done it, but I'm glad he didn't have to. Good luck!
  18. Each nutritionist is different as well, they want you to get your protein in first then veggies and starch after that in that order. Eating a salad with protein kills two birds with one stone. Veggies also keep you fuller during the day. When I had the lap band, to me the salad was a waste of space now I love them with tuna and deli meat. Some can tolerate it, some can't.
  19. Try syntax nectar. They are very tasty. They even have lemon tea just add a bit of crystal light and you're good. They are not shakes at all.
