4 months since surgery and down 74 lbs !!!

Sh!t Just Got Real. Regrets.
Dear Got2bethin, You hang in there - ya hear me ??? !!! Let me tell you, I am 4 months out and down 74 pounds. I too was in the WTF stage. I questioned daily why I had done what I had done.... I cried, I grieved. Today I went to the movie with my family and had popcorn !! Okay, I didn't get the buttery kind, but I ordered a small bag without the goo and ate it !! I go out with my family and eat very small portions of whatever they are having. What's my point ??? LIFE GETS NORMAL AGAIN !! IT REALLY, REALLY DOES !! I understand everything you are feeling and sympathize greatly, but you hang in there, life all balances out again in the NEAR future.... Life is good !! :

Feeling Left Behind
- Gallbladder Symptoms
- Party Pooper
I am with you kiwi. I try hard not to regret it but I am tired of the nausea, I am 2 months out. And I am sick of being sick!! But on the plus side, I have lost 49 pounds. Good and bad- Gallbladder Symptoms
You are the rarity, but we do see it sometimes, besides stones, some people have gallbladders that just don't do their job.- Gallbladder Symptoms
I don't vomit much but the nausea is constant. I don't have a gallbladder anymore ( removed 25 years ago) but I can tell you this, of it's GB - you will have pain. The gallbladder is a little holding tank for bile... Bile is made in the liver and when we eat something with fat in it, the gall bladder squeezes the bile into the stomach to break down the fats. If there are stones in the gallbladder when it contracts, it squeezes the walls against the stones and causes pain. Okay, there is the anatomy lesson for the day, yes I work in medicine and I will get down off my soapbox now. ; ). Just trying to help and I talk a lot!! Have an awesome day!!- Not Enough Protein
I buy them online and at the Vitamin Shoppe. I have done so much online research for protein, gotta trust me on this one... They rock! ; ). Would I steer you wrong ??? Nah !!!- Protien Bars
Quest are absolutely the best. No doubt about it. They have 20 g protein, very little sugar, fiber and no fat. The best part, they taste good !! Trust me, I have read every label on sooooo many bars these fit the bill perfectly !! Enjoy !!- Protien Bars
There are a couple of posts about the quest bars. They are the absolute best !! High Protein, high Fiber, low sugar, no fat and they taste great ! My personal favorites are the cinnamon roll, the coconut cashew and the lemon cream pie !!! Yummmmmm. And I am very picky !!!- Salad
At what point can we have salad- Post Op Farts
Yes and they will continue to stink and so will your poo!! More than ever!!- Friday Weigh-In!
