  2. All this talk of salad made me want one !! So today I got the small strawberry/blueberry salad from Wendy's with chicken and it was awesome!!! No problems with it at all!!! I am 8 weeks out tomorrow. And down 50 lbs!!!
  3. Well we have even more in common !! I live in Mount Clemens, Michigan ! ! My daughter told me they call Fort Polk the armpit of the army !! She was in culture shock down there too !
  4. I am with you kiwi. I try hard not to regret it but I am tired of the nausea, I am 2 months out. And I am sick of being sick!! But on the plus side, I have lost 49 pounds. Good and bad
  5. You are the rarity, but we do see it sometimes, besides stones, some people have gallbladders that just don't do their job.
  6. I don't vomit much but the nausea is constant. I don't have a gallbladder anymore ( removed 25 years ago) but I can tell you this, of it's GB - you will have pain. The gallbladder is a little holding tank for bile... Bile is made in the liver and when we eat something with fat in it, the gall bladder squeezes the bile into the stomach to break down the fats. If there are stones in the gallbladder when it contracts, it squeezes the walls against the stones and causes pain. Okay, there is the anatomy lesson for the day, yes I work in medicine and I will get down off my soapbox now. ; ). Just trying to help and I talk a lot!! Have an awesome day!!
  7. I buy them online and at the Vitamin Shoppe. I have done so much online research for protein, gotta trust me on this one... They rock! ; ). Would I steer you wrong ??? Nah !!!

  9. Quest are absolutely the best. No doubt about it. They have 20 g protein, very little sugar, fiber and no fat. The best part, they taste good !! Trust me, I have read every label on sooooo many bars these fit the bill perfectly !! Enjoy !!
  10. There are a couple of posts about the quest bars. They are the absolute best !! High Protein, high Fiber, low sugar, no fat and they taste great ! My personal favorites are the cinnamon roll, the coconut cashew and the lemon cream pie !!! Yummmmmm. And I am very picky !!!
