  8. I started out at 249, and had a dr appt today. I weigh 125, and have lost 125. I've lost what I weigh! I've lost half my body weight. So surreal to me!
  9. I am 10 months post op and have lost 121 pounds. I started at 249, 233 the day of surgery. I now weigh 128.
  10. Ok so I'm on day 3 and it's killing me, with drugs! Reminds me of the RNY & c-sections.
  11. Had my gall bladder taken out today. Yowza! I also had an internal hernia and twisted intestine fixed a month ago, and my surgeon told me recovery would be similar to that. For that one I felt great, down for a day or 2 and then great. I'd compare this one to the RNY. Anyone have any advice or want to share their gall bladder story? I'm hoping this passes soon. The incisions, my insides, and the gas pain are awful.

  13. For a month now my app wouldn't work, and I just figured it all out. Just checking in. I'm almost 10 months out. I had a hernia repair, an ulcer and now having my gall bladder out on Thursday. Still I wouldn't change a thing. I'm so glad I have my life back! As of today I'm down 120 pounds.
  14. The day of my surgery (2/11/13) I was 233. Today I am 132!
  15. I can now, at 8 months, have a small glass. It was one of the first things I dumped on

  19. I'm on cymbalta 60 mg. I took them before and after surgery without any issues. I never had to cut them open, or do anything different.
  20. My RNY was 2/14/13 and I'm having another surgery Thursday. For a few weeks my stomach has been upset, I've been throwing up quite a bit, feeling so tired, and just feeling like crap. After a million tests they've ruled out stricture, ulcer, gall bladder, etc. my surgeon says there a 50/50 chance my small intestine is starting to twist and they need to fix it or I could lose my small intestine. They are doing it laproscopicly. Anyone have this done? It's outpatient surgery but I'm dreading that awful gas pain.
  21. Highest weight was 249, date of surgery (2/11/13) I was 233. Today, 8 months out, I am 136
