Monthly Period!
I've just been crazy busy trying to keep my twins out of EVERYTHING.... My house looks like a disaster. Then right before Christmas I developed a bleeding ulcer, It's better now. I'll add pics soon. I'm frustrated. I've lost 4 lbs shy of 100lbs but am only down 2 pants sizes. Grrr, lol I feel amazing. New Life Started 07/24/12

Monthly Period!
Ok.... I'm 5 1/2 mos. Out & I've only had 3 periods since my surgery. Pre-op I ran like a well oiled machine. I could tell you a month in advance of when I was going to start my period I had it pin pointed to within 3 hours of knowing the time of day I would start. Now, I will bleed for a few days, stop a few, bleed a week, then go as much as 2 months w/o bleeding. It's frustrating. So much for pcos being resolved... Can't take meds for it now though because it makes my sugars too low. New Life Started 07/24/12

7 1/2 Months Out....need Help
I don't have insurance right now either. My best advice is to track every bite you take. It helps with grazing. Also ask yourself "do I truly want/need this?" Drink Water constantly. A lot of times we mistake thirst for hunger. Especially when it comes to craving carbs. New Life Started 07/24/12

Maybe adding smaller measurements such as tablespoons. Also, not harassing about low calorie intake. New Life Started 07/24/12

What Was Your Biggest Misconception About Surgery?
- What Was Your Biggest Misconception About Surgery?
Lol, I have been bugging my husband something awful! I have baby fever worse than I've ever had before and I have 1 1/2 y.o. twins. My husband said Thank God he's snipped or we'd have quadruplets by now. Before my surgery I had the problem of producing way too much testosterone and not enough estrogen. I'm wondering if that problem is coming back. New Life Started 07/24/12- Short Fuse
I wonder if it's not all hormones. Maybe It's that we used to rely on eating to soothe us emotionally and our pacifier has been taken away. New Life Started 07/24/12- Gastric Bypass Questions

Oh lord, I'm already on Effexor & my fuse lately has been non existent New Life Started 07/24/12- What Was Your Biggest Misconception About Surgery?
I did not expect to have these God awful.mood swings. New Life Started 07/24/12- Ptsd And Pre-Op
I too have PTSD as well as depression and social anxiety disorder. I am also Bipolar w/ schizophrenic tendencies. For the most part since my surgery things have improved. At times I will become extremely agitated and that's when I realize I need to eat. Counseling is the only treatment for PTSD. I take Effexor for the depression, anxiety, bipolar. At first my symptoms were way out of whack but as my hormones regulate I am doing better. The more I lose the more I feel happy but, exercise is key! If I don't get my daily dose of endorphins I feel down. New Life Started 07/24/12- 3 Years Post Op And Need Support
