Hey alex not sure if i'm alone in this. but i seem to be having some issues with the site. i will get the little icon saying there are notifications but if i click on it nothing happens. also all of a sudden posts from different groups are showing up. i had it set to show only lapband topics but i've been seeing some from other groups. don't mind reading about every one but as it's not the way i have it set... just wondering.

Can someone please tell me how to update my profile? I need to change my name.

Wondering how I can stop receiving bariatricpal emails for every single thing? Can I change this from the app?

Comment: I've been enjoying seeing posts from the General Weight Loss forum in the Recent Topics section on the right. I'd like to keep it. Suggestion: when you click the My Blogs link under someone's name. It would be nice to see a list of recent posts to that blog. And/or at the bottom of the blog post have a link to read that person's previous post, etc.. Kind of like on blogger you can choose newer post or older post.

Would it be doable for you to split plastics into us and mexico? It would be easier to sort out our docs. Thank you Susysleever

I know this is the wrong section but it’s a unlocked section being told the sections are password protected I am logged in its asking for my password then telling me that’s not correct and I can’t post or even look at them sections now! Upgrade snaffuoo?

Is it possible to change the number of posts that are displayed in a thread page? The new site loads a little slower for me and reading through a thread that has 20+ pages can take a bit of time. I couldn't find an option to change how many posts make up a page. Thanks!

I edited the weight on my profile and now suddenly it is all wrong. My weight loss is wrong and even my Doctor name is wrong. Almost looks like my profile was replaced with someone else...

I'm trying to add this site to another device but I forgot my password. I have tried several times what I think my password is however it doesn't give me the option of lost password any suggestions I'm really frustrated!

Whenever I try to see my subscribed forums on my iPad, the app crashes. I can read my subscribed thread with no problem. I am running iOS 7.1

Can't open a thread on my iPhone it report error on page. Any advice?

There use to be a forum thread called Insurance.. What happened to it?

I can't see my signature or anyone else's in the app now. I used to be able to click a message to see it rendered in HTML and it would show me the signature too, including tickers. I thought maybe I had screwed mine up, but I can't see any. I can see them in the website.

Personal conversations after jan 3, 2014 seem to not be recording in my list of conversations or conversations I start are not making it to recipient. Not sure if this is just my account or a general problem and thought it would be best just to post a thread about it here in assistance. Are others having this issue? I see the problem when using both IPad and android BP applications. It happened to me 2x so far.

How do you stop these emails from every post?

Every time I click next page button from first page in personal messages the BP app will hard crash. This bug is 100% reproducible, at least with my account.

Is there a way to edit my signature and user name from the iPhone app?

On my android app, once I read a thread that has pictures I can never see those pictures again. Is there a way to get around that?

Question. On my android app, once I've opened a thread with pictures if I go back later to same thread I can never view the pictures again??? Annoying

And I put post op in the pull down under "My Surgery" in the user profile. It's a glitch that needs fixing, please.

Have my surgery set correctly but I can see the DS forums by default. This doesn't bother me, but there was a little but of seams earlier when a RNY responded to a DS post about vitamins by accident and things got snippy.

As my surgery date draws nearer (12/31/2013), my girlfriend is going through some mixed emotional feeling about the changes in our relationship after my surgery and weight loss. I'm sure there are many other girlfriends, boyfriends, spouses, parents and grandparents of those who are pre-op or Post-op who would benefit from a forum of their own to connect with others and express how they feel, build support for one an other and learn ways to support their loved ones who made the choice to live a healthier life. Clicking on a BP post link from another post will open that as a web page request to the BP web app instead of the BP mobile app. This is kind of weird (and annoying?) for the post reader. It would be better if the mobile app could be a little smarter about keeping the user within the mobile app context when clicking on a link to another BP post, even if that link is initially directed at the web app. Maybe this is something the mobile app can "fix" during a post composition or post editing flow by analyzing the link as the post is being read and accepted by the system. What happened to the plication forum?

Still cannot get basic formatting like new lines to work when composing a post. Then when I update a post, all new lines are lost. Can this get fixed? It is pretty low hanging fruit as far as bugs go. I checked for an update on Bariatric Pal in the store and did not find one. I am on latest. It doesn't work on my razor 2 phone either. I wish WYSIWYG support exists and minimally text formatting would be preserved. Help?

Hi Alex, just testing out posting a new thread. Letters are appearing in body of post now so that's progress. Still pretty rudimentary compared to on-line version which works fine with iPad. Main thing is font is tiny and I can't stretch text to see what I'm doing or read posts, etc. Thanks for all your hard work with these fixes! Site has gotten so much better. Hi Alex, I am back on web version but did create a post via iPad app called iPad Testt (with a typo!). Cannot see very well as font is so small and text won't stretch. That's an iPad feature we all love -- being able to "grow" whatever is on the screen with swiping the fingers, etc. This goes for icons as well as body of posts, titles, etc. Other than size I like the way the posts appear but could not locate the place to make a comment. There were a lot of options but not that one (perhaps because I was trying to comment on my own post with this info which I am reporting instead here?). Hi Alex, Would it be possible to have a forum topic for each state and then move the threads into the appropriate state? If so, can you provide instructions on how to set up the main forum topic? Hi Alex, I have been hosting the food and Nutrition section for Sleevers and have been thinking it might be good to reorganize the sections a bit. In particular, it's really hard to find recipes unless you already know they are there. I think we have a powerful resource with all of the recipes people have shared.
