  5. Yes it does! LOL When it shows patients in the lobby, I wonder if any of them will be on the show.
  6. Paula is a member of one of the Facebook Bariatric forums where I am a member. She looks like she's doing great now. I was worried about her on the show also. She posted yesterday that the marathon was on TLC. That's how I knew it was on lol. I also seen Christina on one of the Facebook forums. She looks like she's doing great also. If I remember right, she was filming the follow up show. I haven't noticed any posts from her lately. I can't wait for the follow up shows! : )
  7. Marathon on TLC now! : )
  8. Sorry to hear. : ( My surgery was cancelled the night before because one of the surgeons wife went into labor. It was rescheduled again and I got sick 2 days before surgery. I finally had my surgery on my 3rd date. I wore a mask for a few days before surgery to help from getting sick.

  10. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-Digital-Bowl-Scale-Black-and-Silver/35854315 I bought these scales at Walmart. They were pretty reasonable and they have a removeable bowl. I also use the 2 oz condiment cups. They really come in handy.
  11. Yea, my hair was crazy looking after 3 days of no shower. Lol. And with my period starting again I just felt nasty. Gotta keep the lady parts clean lol.
  12. They wrapped my middle in plastic and tape. I had a drain and feeding tube. I cut a trash bag and taped it around everything when I got home. Nothing got wet and everything healed well.

  14. I had my period the week before surgery. The surgery brought it back on. It's been out of whack since. : (
  15. Don't forget chargers. I also took an extension cord. It was helpful because my chair wasn't even close to the outlet. I wore hospital gowns while there until my departure date. Be prepared because you may start your period after surgery. I was in the hospital for 5 days. The showers were the best thing ever. Good luck! : )
  16. I've tried them and didn't have any issues. I've also tried watermelon, bananas, oranges and apples with no issues. Enjoy it! I've missed fruit.

  23. WTG on the size 6! Make sure you are getting in your protein. I think I've read it stops around 7 months? I'm not positive. I use a Nioxin shampoo and conditioner from Sally's Beauty Supply. I'm not sure if it will help but I guess it won't hurt.

  26. I knew I would gain weight but I still wanted to weigh in the hospital. Lol. They walked me by the scales everyday but never let me use them. I weighed myself at home after my 5 day hospital stay and I had gained 9 pounds. I was glad I didn't weigh while in the hospital because I would have been discouraged.
