I have been on a liquid diet for 6 days and I was called tonight (2 days before my surgery) to notify me I will have to reschedule to the end of the month with a different Dr. Bc the one I chose is sick. I have already done preop tests, my parents, sister and boyfriend already took off. And plus I have taken off from work for medical leave already.I feel soooo discouraged

Oh that's terrible but things happen for a reason and purpose.

Don't get to down about this.

Things will work out for the best.

Maybe this surgeon wasn't to be the one to take care of you and to do your surgery.

It's still going to happen just a little later then planned.

You keep coming here for support and to talk as much as you want.

You take care of yourself.

Things happen for a reason. This could've been the Good Lords way of protecting you from something! Keep heart.....it'll be here before you know it!

Is that the only surgeon... is there a backup?

Thanks for the support, my doctor does have a partner but he just so happens to be on vacation this week, go figure, sigh

My surgery was cancelled the night before because one of the surgeons wife went into labor. It was rescheduled again and I got sick 2 days before surgery. I finally had my surgery on my 3rd date. I wore a mask for a few days before surgery to help from getting sick.
