Demographic observation after launch new site

Why is the site so band heavy in terms of posts? Did sleeve folks just stop posting due to the switchover or are banders so disproportionately represented on the new site? A rant I guess.

There's a pretty simple explanation to your problem. You have Lap-Band as your selected surgery within your Member Profile! :D I went ahead and updated it for you. You should now see only Gastric Sleeve topics.

For others with this similar problem.....Please read about how you can fix that here! Or, follow these steps:

  • Click here or on the wheel icon to the right of your username at the upper right corner of the page. Select “My Patient Profile” from the dropdown menu.
  • From the drop-down menu near “Surgery,” select your surgery type. If you would like to receive content from all other surgery types, check the box. If you do not want to receive content from other surgery types, leave the box unchecked.
  • Click on “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page.

Thank you very much. I have nothing against the other surgeries, I just felt out of place.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
