Has anyone else had trouble with threads not being viewed all the way on the mobile version? I'm running a weight loss challenge and noticed several people didn't know when the challenge started or other information that was clearly stated in the first thread. I then viewed my own post in the mobile version to discover the whole thing wasn't there! I double checked on the computer to make sure the whole thing actually posted and it did. I took a screenshot of my thread off the mobile version. I'm wondering if it's because I reviewed the post before publishing it?

I just wrote a long reply to a post regarding excess skin and then after I hit post realized it was in the guys room... I deleted my post but what a pain.

i noticed my surgery date disappeared and then watched and seemed others did not show up either. Not sure if it's me and a user error but I don't think so.

How do I get those fields to appear on the left side of my posts? I've entered the information in my profile, but cannot figure out why they won't show up under my avatar.

RANT: So, this morning, while checking in on my bariatric peeps, I see eight (8) posts from more low numbered posters just throwing useless non-bariatric links at us. I am expecting recent posts from forum members and just see crap except for a couple of folks. WTH?

Apparently there is no mod on duty who can disable accounts and delete posts? There's been a spammer running amuck for hours and no one has done anything.

I have been reading on here and on fb weight loss surgery help forums that everyone says they have a baby pouch why can't we give them names since we have take care of them like a new bitty baby?

I've tried updating the weight on my profile. I received a message that there needed to be a goal date. Really don't desire to put in a particular date in this field, because my goal date is when my body decides for itself. Anywho I went ahead and put a date in that field, updated my current weight, then clicked save. Even though a green msg appeared saying changes have been saved...it still shows my old weight.

I've been following my liquid diet directed by doctor and I believe the protein drinks have made me constipated. Today is my clear liquids day and tomorrow is surgery... What to do?

Is there any way on the apple app to timeline an entire topic,ie just look at the timeline for lap band in general? Sometimes I don't want to timeline the entire site just my surgery type and I can't figure out how to do it.

The Bariatric Pal chat room was a great source for real-time information while I was making decisions to prepare for surgery. With the relocation of the chat room, it is really dead and difficult to find anyone. I think the veterans know about it, but I rarely see "new faces". Can the chat room be restored to the main menu bar? Fred

When I go to it all I see is a list of other forums.

I can't find a spot o go to update my weight. I assume it's in the profile, but I don't see it. It would be great if there was an input box on every page that says "weigh-in" type in the number and it updates everywhere, including in whatever ticker you are using.

Anyone experiencing difficulties when responding to posts? After I have written 3or4 paragraphs, a tag line appears and says " There is an error with this website. It is being reloaded." Then everything I have written disappears and I have to start again. How frustrating. Is it just me?

Hi - Well, I am just a year past gastric sleeve surgery and am pleased with the results. Before and after surgery I spent lots of time on this site. Then as I got comfortable with new ways of being, I stopped checking the site for the last 6 months. Last week, for no apparent reason, I started receiving emails from what I would guess is one of the Forums for newbies. Question 1 - how do I stop receiving those? and Question 2 - I would like to receive Forum emails from the Veterans and Plastic Surgery Forums - how do I do that. @@Alex Brecher, for the last several days this app has been impossible to use. Slow, jumpy, won't scroll smoothly. I've gone back to the website.

Just in the past couple of days I started getting notifications when I post. It's driving me nuts!

I thought it was my phone, but it's only in this app lately: scrolling is jumpy and hesitant and really not smooth all of a sudden. Anybody else notice this? @@Alex Brecher ?

What does the box on the profile page , gold for me and currently states 100 excellent, mean? I have 122 posts and 100 excellent. What on earth does that mean?

I joined BP yesterday. My first official action was to inadvertently block (I think that's what the little option window said) the signature on a forum post I was read. My search for help failed. Here's hoping someone can tell me how to restore that nice member's signature block. She didn't know and suggested I write to Alex, the founder, but I can't even find a way to contact him. @@Alex Brecher, Over the weekend notifications stopped coming. I follow lots of threads but am not getting any notifications except for one or two that say I was quoted. That seems to be a new type of notification. It looks like "liked" works too but nothing when others add to a thread.

My profile and content history have disappeared. What happened?

@Alex Brechar my tool bar doesn't work the B italic underline for example are all light colored can't bold or anything when i write a reply it only comes up light in a different font then i want i unsuccessfully sent you a copy of what it looks like this has been going on since the 15th help help please emoticons also don't work ( thanx kathy

Ok, I have just finished my profile after months of being on bariatricpal. I noticed an area to place a skype address. How does skype work through bariatricpal? If I enter my skype address does it appear for others?

Why are some of the pictures in my profile upside down, ever after I rotate them? Can this be fixed? Thanks

I've noticed over the last few days quite a few duplicate posts. It would be nice if there was a way to prevent them and/or clean them up.

Avatars seem to be randomly disappearing or switching from one member to another. Sometimes it's quite amusing. Is this a known issue that's being addressed?

The board appears to be running extremely slow today. Several post I made appear to just hang there for several minutes. However when I refresh they have posted.

I kept getting an error message and didn't realize I was posting. Now I see the same posting over and over. All I can find in this app is to edit no delete. Susan

So apparently my email sent one of my emails from bariatric pal to spam. Now I can't get any email updates. When it first happened, I got a message to opt in. I did it. The next time I clicked on a subject I got the message (and continue to get the message) that I had already opted in and can't do it again. How can I fix this so I can get emails?

Hi @alexbrecher ! The last couple of days there have been many duplicate posts on many threads. I've noticed some of my own posts would "hang", then "time out", and then actually have posted twice. At first I thought it was only on replies to posts that had pictures, but it's on regular posts as well. For some reason, site performance seems to be degraded this week. I don't recall updating the app recently. I post from an iPhone.

I've been having trouble for the past couple of weeks with the app freezing up on me. After 1-5 mins in the app, the page will freeze whether I'm browsing, reading or responding (messages and the forums). I've tried restarting my phone and also uninstalling than reinstalling the app - none of which worked. Anyone else having these problems? I love this app, but I rarely use it anymore since the freezing keeps happening that I can't read through threads I'm interested in or respond to conversations without getting stuck. I was wondering what happened to the tool bar of list of friends. It is not there anymore, same as with the chat room's tool bar.

I even deleted app & reinstalled app on my iPad. Every time I try to read a post it kicks me out of app,it doesn't allow me to open post. Now I'm using the older version on my iPhone.. ALEX PLEASE don't get rid of old version!!!! I'm hoping for a Feb surgery & would be lost without BP.. Please help!

Okay, I know this is possible and I hope this site will make it so. Can you lock a room based on your profile so one doesn't "accidently" go into the wrong room? what example I wish to use is the posting by females in the guys room. I am sure there is some code in the persons profile (identifying ones self as male or female) which would open or unlock the guys room (likewise for ladies gone wild room). not only should you not be able to post in the room, but the room should not even be visible to the other sex. if the OP wants the other sex to see the post, the OP should post it in an appropriate room. Recently, when I try and look at someones Surgeons profile, I get the following message. I really like to be able to see a persons doctors info. Maybe I'm weird, but I like to know if "my surgeon says....." is coming from someone who has 1 or 31 years of "experience". Also, I like to be able to look and see if other patients of that surgeon experience similar. Why did this change? Thanks! David This is the message....it says whomever their doctor is.
