Apparently there is no mod on duty who can disable accounts and delete posts? There's been a spammer running amuck for hours and no one has done anything.

The best way to notify us of spam is by using the REPORT button found below each post.

It seems that the spammers found a way to work around the spam filters we have in place. It's a never ending battle with these guys. Most spam is posted by automated software bots and not actually people.
